Absolutely delicious bagels. We went there on our way home from breakfast for second breakfast. I grabbed a fresh everything bagel with lox cream cheese. Bagel was perfectly chewy and the cream cheese was cold and delightful. They accidentally made an everything with regular cream and and I ate that also. (they gave me that as a bonus) The wife got a sesame bagel and a cinnamon raisin bagel as this was her first time there and that's how she figures out if a bagel place is worth ever returning. She will be back. That's big fyi. The sesame bagel was covered in sesame in proper sesame bagel style.Their breakfast sangies look intense. I may have to go here for first and second breakfast in one next time.

I've had Brookside Bagels before, but this was my first visit there that I remember. Brookside is located in an old house-type structure. There were a number of people sitting there at 9:45 on a Saturday morning. There seemed to be a decent amount of seating. Service was friendly and efficient. I had a sesame bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese. The bagel was very soft and lacked much chew. I know some people prefer this type of bagel, but I prefer a chewier bagel. The veggie cream cheese was also soft and about average flavor-wise for a CT Bagel Shop. 3.5 Stars

New to town and looking to find a local bagel spot. I want to state the bagels were good; there’s no question about the quality of the food. Only con was the wait. We didn’t realize how busy they were until all these mobile orders came in to pick up and didn’t realize they were short handed this morning. I just wish it was mentioned upfront there would be a delay as to manage expectations. Usually when I think bagels I think a quick in and out breakfast and we were there for over 30 minutes. I’d like to give this place another shot as the food was good!

A perfect place to grab a savory bagel with cream cheese. I don't know much about the east coast bagel culture and I'm told this doesn't compare. However I'm from the west coast and I call comparison the theft of joy.An everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and a hot cup of coffee while sitting in the lobby on a cold day. It was a perfect start to my day.
