Great food and friendly bar tenders. The pizza is great and decent priced drinks. My go to are the Steak sandwich, fish and chips, wings, fries with the horseradish sauce. Large patio with corn hole farts an pool inside. Fun spot

You're basic local sports bar. With some pool tables. And a good cover band.
Not what what we expected at all . My husband and I always enjoyed the food and environment at Hoops and hops for years. However after moving, we missed the food . For a special occasion I ordered food for family and friends. We were all disappointed. $35 for a potato pizza . The potato pizza we remembered was the Reason we stopped by for take out . Perfect to entertain family and friends . We were all looking forward to it . Had to throw it away, awful . Also the plain cheese pizza was burnt, very thin not much cheese, wont go back . Im sorry to our nostalgic hangout. I believe you can bring it back and do better.

Great bar to chill at and interior esthetics are great! You can even get in on a game of giant blocks Jenga if you get down like that. Check it out.

Was in Simsbury for the Christmas holiday and looking for a bar to watch the Bills v. Bears game the day before Christmas. Called 3 other bars before finding out Hoops and Hops has Sunday ticket. They put the Bills game on one of the tv's and I was able to enjoy some cold beer (good selection) and grab some food while watching the game. The staff were awesome.

Alexander Fleming - I agree with your review, this place is full of the worst of Simsbury.Let's start with cleanliness.. the men's restrooms reak of urine and puke on any day ending in "y"... And even if they didn't the ambiance of drug usage in the stall next to you would be enough to turn away a discerning individual. However if that is not a deterrent be advised that violence and harassment are protected simply if one tips enough a week on their bud lights. I highly do not recommend. Once a great place but greed and mismanagement have truly birthed a blight upon the town and I wonder why the police do not take more notice. Try any bar instead.
