Food brought out very late , an hour to get one appetizer . Dinners brought out sporadically, orders mixed up and last dinner came out way after all were done eating. Staff never checked on us or took additional drink orders . They did discount bill but not worth the visit

Fairly unreliable in terms of service, drink offerings, and orders. No scotch to be found. And ordered 90min ahead of time… somehow still 20 min late in getting order put together. Unfortunately, few other places to go in the area. Table top service is also generally just slow (when I’m out with colleagues and they decide here…)

My experience at this restaurant has been all three dine in, take out, and delivery. There is a reason why I won't give five stars because there is a lack of consistency. As far as timing and not enough staff. (Lack there of) It may be at certain times. But because their food is 90% on point all the time every time. Sometimes there will be hiccups but I still enjoy their service.

Can no longer order pick up here anymore due to the constant staff issues for months now. They don’t greet anyone letting customers stand around for sometimes up to 10-20 mins waiting to just speak to anyone to pick up their food order. Managers seem overworked and rude when consulted. Constant lost food tickets, lying about how it will be ready in one minute (even tho the ticket was lost it turns out) and the staff can’t understand how to look up orders by name vs DoorDash and won’t ask for clarification from customer they will keep telling you one minute until you the customer figure out they don’t even know where or what your order is. Please train your staff both FOH and BOH. Insufferable experience picking up here for months and months it doesn’t seem to get better. Also the teens at the front have convos with themselves at the counter without ever acknowledging the guests waiting patiently at the counter and finish their convos then disappear without ever greeting anyone. Cmon guys.

On December 24 we ate lunch at the restaurant and I had the worst fried oyster sandwich ever . it had no taste and no oyster , just breading .
I made a special trip to Iron Horse Pub in Simsbury today because I have been wanting to try their food and it appeared to be a nice place in a great area. Unfortunately for both me and for Iron Horse Pub, evidently their staff does not seem to agree. The bartender was unpleasant immediately and seemed practically annoyed by my very existence. Her attitude and actions set a vibe that was uncomfortable and inhospitable and the only other employee I saw during my brief visit there also seemed fairly miserable. The food was decent but nothing special that would warrant putting up with the unpleasantness of this restaurant/bar. Skip it. There are tons of other restaurants that want your business and no one has the time or money to throw away on a business that actively works to make you feel uncomfortable in their establishment.

The restaurant looked a bit dirty on appearance. Fish and chips weren't beer battered, they looked like frozen fish cakes thrown in a fryer. When I told the waitress I didn't get my Cole slaw with my Fish and chips she left and came back and said they were out. I asked if I could get something else she said "well what do you want?" ....mmmmmm....how about you suggest an option?? Service in general was spotty at best before that interaction. Not impressed. Probably won't return ?

DON’T ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE!!!!!!!!! They will accept the order without having the food available just to get your money. We ordered online and the delivery guy showed up and just said that they didn’t have our food. It’s frustrating because we only ordered for one specific item. They let us order it so they’d get the money even though they had no intention of giving us the food.

Hot dog! This place was fantastic! I took my beautiful wife out to lunch for her birthday. The dining room and bar were clean and inviting. Casey was holding the place down from bartender, hosting, and serving. The beer selection was great, and the menu had great food options. The starter salads were fresh and tasty. Our meals were very good. I recommend the chicken sub. I would absolutely return!
Dietary restrictions: My wife with the most beautiful brown eyes has a gluten allergy, and they accommodated very well.
