I had food from their food truck at one of my kids school event so I was excited to sit down and dine here. I attempt to have lunch with my coworker at this establishment but unfortunately that did not happen. We arrived at 11:15 am at which point we were told they did not open until 11:30 which was not a problem. My coworker and I sat on their patio until 11:40 enjoying one another's company. A couple seated themselves at the patio shortly after 11:40 and they were immediately greeted by a server. They were given plates, silverware and even had a lovely conversation with the server while we sat unacknowledged and ignored. Needless to say instead of addressing the waitress we decided to leave and take our money elsewhere.

Excellent Mexican restaurant, the Margaritas are strong and delicious, fajitas were fantastic, fish tacos (red snapper fish) and cauliflower tacos are amazing, we love the outdoor dining, very convenient to the Farmington Canal River bicycle trail, I highly recommend La Joya, it is very hard to get excellent Mexican food and excellent margaritas at the same place!!

An absolute favorite of ours in this area! Even though it's usually fairly busy, and seating is limited, somehow we always seem to find a spot at the bar, which has always been hosted by friendly, accommodating, and attentive bartenders. The drinks are inventive and excellent, and the food...holy smokes...THE FOOD! Without question, at least IMHO, the best of the best when it comes to artisan Mexican themed cuisine. The tacos are otherworldly, truly. I have too many favorites to list. We sometimes visit this wonderful place 2 or 3 times a week...and it's still not enough lol. Love it!
