Elegant and delicious! Dinner for 10 to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. Joanne was our host and waitress. She and her staff were very professional and perfectly coordinated. Food was prepared and cooked perfectly. Worth the (limo) trip from Springfield.

Been here a couple times and always loved this place. Went for high tea and was such good quality. Little finger sandwich’s, tea , and desserts. Really loved the custard and the bite bites were so good as well. Defs recommend for a nice little day

We have enjoyed many fine meals at Metro Bis over a quarter century and in at least three locations. The cooking is very good and sometimes excellent. The current location, in an historic old mansion, is the most luxurious and yet unpretentious.. The wait staff is superb, with a level of professionalism and kindness that is rarely found in restaurants in this country. This week we met some good friends there, all of s traveling a long way. It was an ideal venue for a leisurely dinner and an extended visit.. Our starters and mains were very good, and the desserts, perhaps not quite as good, but ok. No one objected to our lingering at the table and we were treated as welcome guests. The prices are fair for the excellent quality, variety and presentation. No wonder they are still around!
