Had really high hopes walking in however it did not live up to expectations. Price fix menu had several lovely, but pricey choices. Choice of 3 or 4 courses however one must be a dessert or face an upcharge. Our server told it was due to timing conflict in the kitchen. Our starters came out room temp and then a 20 minute wait for the entrees. Entrees were also not hot and underwhelming. My fish was cooked perfectly but barely 3 ounces in size and accompanied by a cold tampanade that was creamy, a bit chalky and un appealing. The short rib was also only warm and quite small for an adult size. 'Apple pie' was one slice of apple on a crust covered with pecans and ice cream. At $90, pp - which is on the low end- I suggest eating at home and just come for the atmosphere and a cocktail. Really too bad.

This is a true top quality, real food kind of place. Hard to describe how perfect the taste and flavor pairings were, and everything was so solid. Definitely no fillers or cut corners or cheap crap in the food. It was sincerely delightful, and everyone on the service staff was genuine, attentive to detail, relatable, relaxed and also highly competent. The only thing I would recommend is that the Al a carte menu list which items are dairy free or gluten free for those of us with sensitivities. All in all an exquisite experience, and if we're back in the area we will definitely visit again!

We had been waiting 2.5 years to come here. It will less than 2 months before we go back. We sat the the chefs counter and had the tasting menu. 5 stars all the way, highlights were the ceviche, scallops, carne asada. No low.point from entry to paying checks. Highly recommend

Ok. Let me just make this simple. Their tuna tartare is the BEST I’ve ever had and the veal Milanese was literally a work of art on the plate similar to the tuna app. Leanne the bartender was super knowledgeable about their spirits and both chefs came out to greet me and converse with me about their dishes. This was a surprisingly awesome and amazing dining experience and I could feel the love and care Present Company staff puts into this establishment to offer their patrons the best dining experience. If I lived in this area, this would be one of my Norm Peterson establishments.

Really loved this place!! Very nice atmosphere both inside and outside- plus right by the river giving the location a wonderful ambiance. This restaurant does tasting menus which end up being so much food. Did the three course meal of scallops, swordfish, and carrot cake. All was delicious and wonderful. The flavor pairings were amazing. Swordfish was cooked on perfectly. Other dishes included pork, a yellowtail dish, and pancetta. We also shared bread with delicious spread. On the pricey side but worth it!

Anniversary Dinner
I really cannot find the right words to describe the experience you will have when you dine at this gem of a place. It is our "go to" when we want a very memorable evening. From the minute you walk in the door you will be treated like you are the most special couple in the room. Every person that works there goes above and beyond. You almost feel like you are in Europe at a little bistro. And to think it is right here in the lovely little town of Tariffville. Thank you for the wonderful memory you help create.

Great experience from start to finish! Four of us had the 5 course prix fix tasting menu with wine pairings, and everything was delicious. Portions were generous without making us overstuffed, or wanting more. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant! Server PJ was the best, and made the experience outdoors even more fun!Update: We have since gone back to Present Company several times, and it never disappoints. We recently dined at the chef’s counter (had a great time with Matt!) and enjoyed the 4 course prix fixe, and some of the standouts were the duck confit, cappelletti, sourdough späetzel that was surprisingly spicy and delicious, the striped bass and the espresso martini. I had a delicious cocktail similar to a Paloma, but much more interesting and complex in flavor. The service is always top notch even when the place is busy. We look forward to our next visit!
