We went for a ride to get some ice cream. We wanted to try something new and we ended up here. Speaking of new, this place had some unique flavors and the ice cream was delicious. I found the staff to be friendly and engaging. When we were here, the line was getting pretty long, but the staff kept an upbeat attitude and kept the line moving. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a good place to stop for some tasty ice cream treats.
The only knock is that the parking can be a little bit rough. I ended up parking way in the back and discovered there is actually a hiking trail so if you want to burn off some of the calories from the ice cream, you just enjoyed, this is the place for you…

Best ice cream and ice cream sandwiches in Farmington Valley! Highly recommend Coffee+ Heath bar. Hein Farm in Farmington also carries quarts in their freezer.

Tulmeadow is a wonderful family farm store. I love that they offer many gluten free flavors. The ice cream is so creamy. I come from Missouri to have their ice cream when I am in town.

My husband and I returned from having Tulmeadow ice cream for the first time and it was mind blowing. Both of us were pleasantly surprised with the rich and creamy flavor. We declared it the best ice cream we ever tasted. We will definitely be returning customers.

I bought Tulmeadow Farm ice cream at a farmers market and didn't check the ingredients until I got home. There are so many additives in these products--not necessarily harmful, but not necessarily safe. It's a shame because the flavors are lovely as are the owners (I think they are the owners, but I'm not sure). It's just that if you're looking for unadulterated products with just cream, sugar, milk, and flavoring (maybe nuts or whatever), this is not the ice cream to buy. For example: Mono and diglycerides, sodium carbonate, dipotassium phosphate, sodium citrate, guar gum, cellulose gum, polysoprbate 80, carrageenan, glycerine, potassium sorbate as preservative, locust bean gum, sodium benzoate, corn syrup, FD&C yellow #5 and 6. I imagine that an additive free product would be well received.In fairness to the owners, this is not a review about the store, which may be great, but only one product.
