The best ice cream! Very unique flavors and best customer service

Tulmeadow is a wonderful family farm store. I love that they offer many gluten free flavors. The ice cream is so creamy. I come from Missouri to have their ice cream when I am in town.

My husband and I returned from having Tulmeadow ice cream for the first time and it was mind blowing. Both of us were pleasantly surprised with the rich and creamy flavor. We declared it the best ice cream we ever tasted. We will definitely be returning customers.

I bought Tulmeadow Farm ice cream at a farmers market and didn't check the ingredients until I got home. There are so many additives in these products--not necessarily harmful, but not necessarily safe. It's a shame because the flavors are lovely as are the owners (I think they are the owners, but I'm not sure). It's just that if you're looking for unadulterated products with just cream, sugar, milk, and flavoring (maybe nuts or whatever), this is not the ice cream to buy. For example: Mono and diglycerides, sodium carbonate, dipotassium phosphate, sodium citrate, guar gum, cellulose gum, polysoprbate 80, carrageenan, glycerine, potassium sorbate as preservative, locust bean gum, sodium benzoate, corn syrup, FD&C yellow #5 and 6. I imagine that an additive free product would be well received.In fairness to the owners, this is not a review about the store, which may be great, but only one product.

This is one of those places you can only find near farmlands. Located in the historic district of West Simsbury, Tulmeadow has been serving literal generations of summertime ice cream eaters from the surrounding area. The ice cream here is creamy, smooth, and so flavorful you'll temporarily be transported to what can only be described as nirvana. Yes... it's really that good.

I went in a nondiscript afternoon (nearly evening), and watched as the line of frozen delicacy seekers never decreased in length. In fact, it only seemed to increase as more people joined.

There is a farm store attached, but I didn't go in there. I should have, and may indeed do so the next time I pass by.

Vegetarian options: Ice cream is nearly as vegetarian as you can get.

Dietary restrictions: Not great if you have a lactose intolerance. But 1000% worth it.

Parking: There's quite a few places to park with people continually cycling in and out of the lot.

Kid-friendliness: Super friendly to kids. Kids love ice cream.

Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty accessible. I didn't see any dedicated spots in the lot, but it is a fairly easy roll to the counter.

Whenever I'm stressed I take a trip out to Simsbury to Tulmeadow Farm Store. Not only can I get some of the best ice cream I've ever had, but the folks are friendly & it's a nice place to just sit & chill & eat your ice cream. Any time someone comes to visit, we take them to Tulmeadow & we've never had a complaint. Definitely check them out if you haven't already!

The new Roasted Corn Ice Cream is delicious!!

Our favorite ice cream spot. The new flavors are always amazing and not there for long. Key lime pie is delicious as well as the green tea passion fruit with white chip

The ice cream is so delicious! I buy pints when I go so I have more to snack on later. The only thing that caught my eye was the use of chemical food dyes in the ice cream. I get the marshmallows in the ambrosia salad are not a natural food item, but I was hoping to see more real food ingredients and less chemical ingredients. I'm still gonna go back and buy the red raspberry chip. It's delicious!
