I am writing to express my serious concern about my visit to your Windsor, CT location on September 15, 2025.

During this meal, multiple issues occurred:
• We specifically requested the burger well done, yet it was served completely raw in the middle (photo attached). This is a serious food safety hazard, not just an undercooked burger. Following this, my husband became ill and began vomiting.
• I also ordered gluten-free items, as I have celiac disease. The “gluten-free” focaccia was crumbly and inedible, and the gluten-free pasta served to me was not gluten-free. Consuming unsafe gluten-containing food puts my health at risk.
• This is not my first poor experience at Burton’s Grill. I have previously had issues with improperly handled gluten-free orders, but this visit was by far the most serious.

I am extremely disappointed and concerned about the lack of proper food safety and allergy handling at your restaurant. I expect a prompt response and explanation as to how these issues will be addressed to ensure no other guests experience what we did.

Our server was Amazing, I wish I could remember his name. Definitely assisted with personal recommendations when we were hung up on the menu. The food was flavorfull, fresh , well presented for a Thursday afternoon. Definitely wish they had New Jersey locations.

Food is tasty, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and their attention to allergies is appreciated! Love the area around Evergreen Walk and very glad we stopped in!!

We went for our anniversary ford was excellent drinks were great waitress was really nice. Buffalo chicken dip was really really good highly recommend i had the Maxx burger *****best burger I've had in a long time. I wanted another one to go. That's how good it was. Wife had General Tso bowl with chicken which she loved no gross pieces of chicken in the buffalo chicken dip or her salad win win. She took it home and are the rest the next day that's how I know she likes it. 5 stars on food and service, music was a little intense for service dining IMHO of course. Other that that perfect we will be back.

We went to Burtons for the first time tonight and had a wonderful experience. Emma was our server and she was on point. Super friendly and knowledgeable. She welcomed us when we go to our table and asked if there were food allergies beyond gluten free.
The Gluten free menu was the exact same as the regular menu. So many options and it was delicious. I had the gluten free Chicken Milanese Alfredo and it was rich creamy and packed with flavor. My husband had the Maxx burger that was cooked exactly how he asked for it. His french fries made me jealous. They were super fresh, crispy, and seasoned.
We are glad we went to Burtons for dinner. It was however pricy so definitely a date night special occasion kinda location.

Swanky restaurant serving American fare. The food is good but a bit over-priced for what you are getting. Good selection of local craft beer, but pricey.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and provide a placemat with activities upon request.

Always a great experience at Burtons! The bolognese is my absolute favorite and I get it almost every time. The food never disappoints!

Had a great meal at Burtons Grill & Bar! The service was excellent—attentive and friendly, especially when it came to checking on dietary needs, which was really appreciated. The menu has solid options, and everything was cooked to perfection. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with service you can count on!
