READ REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING.
I wanted to like this place, first time & last time I'll be ordering. I actually feel bad writing this review but as many others have stated, their products seem to be watered down. Very strange. I ordered an acai bowl drove 30seconds to a quieter parking area opened it and it spilled on me in my car 😭. I was so disappointed honestly. I eat acai bowls all the time at other places, this melted bowl was not it. Do not bother with the acai bowls. I cant speak of the smoothies since I haven't ordered them. Unfortunately I will not be returning. I also noticed they responded to another review regarding hot summer days, yes it was 88° out today but not in under 1 min should an acai bowl melt. If you ever order an acai bowl open inside the store therefore they take accountability for it being melted. At least the customer service was good hence why I give them 2 stars at least. A for effort right?

This is definitely a pick-up-and-go kind of spot, not somewhere you're going to want to camp out or bring a date to chat, but the service is always nice and quick and the quality is consistent. Everything always tastes fresh and my order is always correct.

I'm really sorry to say this because this was one of my favorite smoothie spots. This shop is what started me on the smoothie journey. I moved for the past 3 years to Washington State. I Ended up going to the original location that started this franchise. I moved back to CT and ordered my favorite smoothie. The Energizer with acai and cranberry. To me, Acai and cranberry has a very interesting flavor profile together. I don't know what they changed in the recipe. But the smoothie tastes like Play-Doh now. And this is the third time I've been back to this location for that order. I'm going to go back to making this at home you can keep your Play-Doh for 14$. PS Im also disappointed that you left the points program. That's what made me keep coming back daily for lunch šŸ‘Ž

I'm on the road for work and stop in here for an occasional protein shake. They're quick, friendly, and pleasant to order with.

I love the Lean Out personally, and enjoy that they use Styrofoam cups because even 45 minutes later my smoothie is still cold!

I had the low carb smoothie with peanut butter and chocolate added. It was Amazing. This was the best tasting smoothie I've ever had. This is a cute little shop, the ladies were friendly. I will definitely be back again.

I ordered an Acai Bowl but what I received was a smoothie in a plastic container that should be used for SOLID foods (cakes, pies, cookies), nothing liquid based. Needless to say it melted all over both myself, the interior of my car and I literally live 5 minutes away. I'm not sure why the change was made from using actual bowls but it's definitely not beneficial to the customer. The container holds a much smaller portion than what you used to provide but your prices haven't lowered, the Acai melts RAPIDLY and the container leaks profusely! I've been supporting the business since you've opened and have never had any issues until now. I hope my complaint isn't falling upon deaf ears, keep in mind you literally have a competitor 3 minutes away from your location.

I ordered a PB&J and told them I'm allergic to rasberrys so please substute bananas for the raspberries. Long story short I am now heading to the ER due to allergic reaction because clearly they couldn't honor providing good service. Thanks a lot Emerald City.

The young ladies employed here are extremely rude. I will no longer support this business. Arguing with customers about how they want their drink made is unacceptable. I gave this business several chances. Even after I had a severe allergic reaction because they put the wrong protein in my smoothie. Train your staff!

It was my daughter’s first time in, the staff was friendly however the smoothie she ordered was watered down and we simply asked if she could get another one because she didn’t like this one. The woman who was taking care of me said sure no problem and just then another lady budded in and said she would have to charge for another smoothie. Even if you made the smoothie like it was juice? Wasn’t a horrible experience but definitely felt like that situation could have been handled better. With 20+ years in customer service, a customers first experience is the most impressionable and as a customer service worker you have way more ability to please a customer than you let off.

I generally don’t write reviews, especially bad reviews, but I am inclined to write one today. I have no idea what her name is, but good god she was awfully rude. Working the morning shift of 7/6/24.
I walk in around an hour and a half after opening, and there are already several customers in the store so I completely understand that with only two staff members it was likely very busy and getting a bit overwhelming. As someone who has worked in food service, I am totally understanding of this. But I walk up to the girl at the counter and cheerfully say ā€œgood morning!ā€; she ignores me. So now I’m just standing there, and she seems to be having issue with the register which I totally understand. She doesn’t even acknowledge me though. Then the proceeds to speak to her coworker, and then walk away and start making a smoothie all while I’m still standing there and she completely avoids even looking up at me seemingly purposely. I was honest to god standing there for five minutes just looking like an idiot while she blatantly ignored me.
On top of this, it felt very personal for some reason because after she finally did acknowledge me and take my order, she promptly got to the other customers in line with no issue.
Again, I’m not sure if maybe it was just an off day for her and I’m a very understanding person, but I also work in customer service and it’s important to at least acknowledge your customers. A simple ā€œgood morning! I’ll be with you in a minuteā€ would’ve sufficed. I’ve only been in here one other time and that time was very pleasant so I definitely will give it another shot. I just don’t believe it was fair that I was treated that way.
