My first order from Higashi and the food was very tasty. I wish I had gotten something that identified the sushis that were in the "Sushi Beginner", as there were several that I didn't recognize. My partner had Pork Gyoza, Chicken Tatsuta Age, and Beef Yakesoba. It was "all very good".
I went here by myself to dine in the other day and had a great experience. Service was fast and everyone in the restaurant was extremely kind. I got the sushi and definitely enjoyed it a lot. You get a pretty good bang for your buck with the sushi dinners considering they come with a good amount of sushi plus a soup AND salad. Overall, I appreciate the courteous staff and delicious food! :)
After trying out most of the local sushi spots, Higashi is the one I keep returning to. Their Super Cute roll is my absolute favorite, but I'm also a huge fan of their Boston roll. The Boston is nothing like the other local places though, which almost always have mayonnaise, where as this one has no mayo but adds tamagoyaki??? Which is weird but oh so wonderful.
