We had Jamaican kitchen cater a party this weekend. For over 35 guests! It was a pirate themed party so we wanted to have Jamaican food to go with our theme. The food was fantastic. We had more than enough food to go around and the people at Jamaican kitchen were so helpful in making our party a great success! Special thanks to Lisa for her patience and kindness working with us! I highly recommend Jamaican kitchen! Their food is awesome and their people are just as awesome!!!!

my friend and I tried for the second time to order food here. Service was terrible, we were ignored twice for customers behind us before one of the three behind the counter asked what we wanted. my friend ordered sweet and sour tofu and was given a pitiful portion. I ordered a half pound of curry goat and was given a box full of mostly bones. never going to this restaurant again.

Stopped on a whim not far from closing time on a Thursday. Primarily take-out but there are a few tables for 2. Clean. Good service. Excellent oxtail stew and curried goat. Good beef patties. Satisfying portions. Will return to try other dishes.

Well, it's unfortunate here's a needed jamaican restaurant, not to have to drive into hartford, and it's trash, got two beef patties and coco bread, cold patty, lacking in meat and the bread falling apart, no flavor patty or bread , very disappointing, also no cakes no monkey bread, no pound cake nothing, not cool will not be going there again. Don't recommend stopping by.. . ?

Small drop in restaurant for express service for Jamaican food. Limited options, seating, and staff. We visited today during the tornado and flash flooding. There wasn’t any other customer. The greeting we got was warm and welcoming. The prices seemed reasonable. When we got home we were quite dissatisfied. The rice in the rice and peas was so hard!! The oxtail could have been cooked a little longer to fall off the bone. The flavor was just ok. We got so much rice with 3 oxtail bones!!! The ting grapefruit soda cost more than the other D&G. Why not sell them all for the same price? I won’t be going back but I hope my feedback helps improve their business as I do want them to succeed!

This location just opened and my wife and I went in for dinner. We had the jerk pork and enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We each had plenty to take home for leftovers. It is mostly takeout, but they had some small tables and we were able to eat it.

I've eaten at most of jamaican kitchen and didn't know this one was express so they didn't have everything that I ordered or supposed to come with a meal. The reason for the 2 star I because I got food poisoning from here and that was the only thing I've eaten the whole entire day on 05/16/24 around 6pm.
