To say I am disappointed in this restaurant is an understatement. Our nonprofit animal rescue reserved their banquet room on a Tuesday night for our annual volunteer appreciation party. We were told it was a minimum of 30 guests when we first made the reservation. When we called back to order the food a week before the event we were then told it was a $700 minimum to spend. We were told the cost was $21 per person. This got us 5 pizzas, 1 salad, 2 trays of pasta and 4 pitchers of soda. We ran out of salad and pizza before all of the guests were able to eat. The food was subpar at best.

We had 38 guests in attendance, one was a 5-year old, yet we were charged for 42. They counted the tables & chairs rather than how many were actually seated there. At the end of the event as we handed the credit card to pay we were told we needed to pay with cash; this was never mentioned in advance of the event. We are extremely upset by the poor communication and being over charged when there wasn’t even enough food to serve everyone. I would not recommend having an event here.

Tried here while visiting family as it is their already tradition to come here every week, and it did not disappoint! Wow, their sauce in the chicken giuseppe, chicken calzone and eggplant fries were amazing! Definitely will come back here!

I go here quite often for lunch. But was working late tonight and called in to order something and the female picked up the phone said kitchen closed and hung up on me. Why even answer the phone? And to be honest she’s actually rude during lunch hours.

My husband raves about the grinders from here & they did not fail him this visit. I, on the other hand ordered the marinated steak salad, which I was sadly not impressed with. It was certainly a thinly sliced steak (idk cuts of steaks) but i didn’t think it was marinated at all. It was dry & perhaps just thrown on the grill quickly. Also, too much fat or gristle for my liking. It did have grilled peppers and onions, few pepperoncinis, Kalamata olives & cucumbers. Might have been better with a shredded cheese Nevertheless, I had a bite of the Genoa salami grinder and I was quite tasty.

I was craving Zuppa de mussels and Lena's IS the place to go for these. My grandson got a Hawaiian pizza ? ? it was done to perfection ?
In 20+ years of living here and dining at this restaurant ? I can honestly say I have NEVER had a bad meal!!! ????

*** I took the bread and put it in the leftover sauce and brought it home. I had some Italian sausage links left over from dinner the other night and cut up two of them and added it to the sauce and bread. Heated it up in the air fryer and OMGGGGGG it was so satisfying ? ?
