Food was very good and our server was outstanding. One thing I would criticize is the salsa served with our tortilla chips was bland and tasteless but my dinner of Cerviche wad excellent. Will definitely be going back.
It’s hit or miss. I ordered the ceviche and it came out hot lol. Like they boiled the shrimp first instead of cooking the shrimp in the lemon or lime. Same thing with their coctel de camaron. Never had these kind of mariscos hot like that it’s honestly kind of lazy. The carne asada is really good though.
We had the best experience at Mexicali! Lalo was our waiter- hands down the best server we’ve ever had. He was so kind and considerate and even took a photo for us! You’re the best Lalo! Drinks were delicious (highly recommend the Miami Vice) and the food was yummy as well. You’ve got to check this place out-and request Lalo as your server!⭐️
