The typical chain restaurant “open the bag and heat it up” food vibe. As someone else mentioned that they had better Takeout. I would definitely agree. The server was lovely…that’s all.

I actually would rate the food a solid 4 in terms of taste, but they have dramatically reduced their portion sizes from the already modestly sized portions they had years ago, while still charging top dollar. That is why I can no longer give them 4+ stars, and I say that despite liking the place. And I have gone here for years, when the portions were never large, but a bit more reasonable relative to the price.I noticed the chicken tempura, which I love, is now very small, and the taro, which I liked to order with the chicken tempura is now cut into "halves" instead of giving you a full size, total rip off. I also enjoy the amazing chicken, tempura ice cream, and the Beef Negimaki. But all the dishes are profoundly overpriced, despite tasting good, because the portions are so small now. It is a total ripoff. You are better off just getting Chinese takeout honestly.Breaks my heart to write that about this place, having gone here for years.

Update- went for lunch, they have alot of different lunch specials. Favorite date night spot, but let's be real, it's just a favorite overall, best sushi, best hibachi in town. The service is always fast and really good.

The most delicious food! I had a high-end tuna and salmon roll, I forget the name. I think it was a volcano. And then I also had the sweet potato tempura roll. It was a great combination and I highly recommend going that route. Also had a delicious cocktail. I think it was called the Asian butterfly but I'm not 100% sure. It had elderflower liqueur.

The ambiance of this establishment was commendable; however, there were notable shortcomings in management. The cuisine lacked flavor, exemplified by the undercooked steak, and the demeanor of the manager was regrettably poor. Our dissatisfaction commenced upon our arrival for a pre-booked reservation, only to discover our absence from the list, resulting in a cramped seating arrangement for our party of eight, including placement near a sink for some family members. Despite our prior reservation, we were met with hostility from the manager, who persistently attributed blame to us. In light of these issues, I would recommend exploring alternative dining options for a more satisfying experience, preferably in a setting that is family friendly.

I wanted to do hibachi but they were booked, so they say, because when I ventured to the back there were several seats available. We called for reservations but they told us on the phone they don’t take reservations, but when we arrived there they told us they were booked solid. I asked how is that possible and they said we had to make reservations the day before. I’m not sure why because the food wasn’t that great at all. I’ve had better take out food. Sorry, this place just didn’t cut it.

We had a dinner reservation for a rather large party. It was a nice experience, but definitely not the best. They charge you a deposit for larger parties, when making the reservation. Also, if it's a birthday party, you can't bring in the cake (we did that at another hibachi place), but they give you an ice cream on the house. The menu comes with rice and it's an additional $5 charge per person for noodles. Again, comparing to the other place, we could choose between rice and noodles, but not here. The waitress asked us for paid beverages refills, but never refilled our water glasses until prompted.Overall, it was an OK experience, but we had a better one at the other restaurant.

This restaurant is very much overrated. Went there for the first time with friends on a Friday night. Though the entry and ambience of the place is good, it was super loud and had to talk loud to hear each other. We took a regular table (not Hibachi). The server came initially and we asked for a few minutes to decide and then she didn’t come back for 15-20 mins and we had to call someone and complain.I ordered the teriyaki vegetables with fried rice and that came with soup and salad. The soup was very average and the salad dressing was awesome. The teriyaki vegetables had no teriyaki taste at all in it and tasted more like a stir fry. No flavor or anything at all in the fried rice that came with it.My friend asked for noodles along with the teriyaki vegetables but only if it didn’t have any fish oil or fish sauce. They said it has fish oil and hence we said not to give it but they still charged us for it. Thankfully, I noticed and checked the bill and caught the mistake.Overall, the food was not tasty at all and the service was poor. Prices are high and it is very over rated. I would rather go to Kobe Asian in Manchester for very similar food but great tasting and great service and prices.
