Sun Sun Chinese Restaurant

As a long time customer I can tell you that the quality of food has definitely gone, but worse than that they try to charge a different that's listed on the menu for recently I went there order shrimp lomein which is listed on the menu for $11.95 they tried to charge me 14.95 when I questioned they could not give me a straight answer which naturally, I refused to pay so I left the food there and went some where else for lunch needless to say I be going back

Had the Chicken Broccoli good sauce tender chicken

Great please have a great price. Chicken fingers could've used some work needed to be crispy. Probably the best pork fried rice I've ever had.

I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and asked for no broccoli. I was charged extra for them not adding broccoli. When I asked about being charged extra they said it's because they had to add more of the other vegetables 🤷‍♂️. The meal was skimpy, tasteless and full of grizzle. Under new owners and this place has sadly gone downhill. Don't waste your money.

There seems to be a clear consensus among patrons based on the many recent views; that Sun Sun is no longer Sun Sun. I'm not sure who now owns the restaurant, but the quality of the food is terrible. If the new owner and the cooks there don't care about restoring the taste and quality of their food then just close the restaurant. The truth is, the food there sucks now. For example, the texture of the ribs was off last time I ordered and they tasted like some cleaning solution was mixed in. Just close the place already.

Since Stella and her husband retired and turned business over to friends/family, food quality/taste have gone down. Sauces waterier, more veggies and less meat, too much salt in egg rolls, portions smaller with more rice added to fill plate.

We were excited to eat here based on some of the other reviews we saw. But everything from the service to the food was nothing special. The food was just okay, not bad but not great either.

Excellent quality, superior flavor, Sun Sun is a South Windsor treasure. The people are friendly and the price is amazingly reasonable setting a high standard for all restaurants even though their main business is takeout.
