When living in South Windsor for years we used to always get our Chinese from SunSun. We always got delivery.I remember, delivery always used to get there quickly food was hot. Food was always excellent! I was recently driving by and was thinking about dinner. I said that's where sun ☀️ is. I stopped for takeout. Typical 15 minute wait. I must admit. They still have the best Chinese food around. If you haven't tried them I highly recommend. Also I couldn't believe the operation. They're so busy they have which appears to be a couple of college kids working the front taking orders. Excellent service all the way around! The only downfall I could see or actually feel. Please turn up the heat in the waiting area. Lol. Once again your food is excellent! Service is excellent!I will be back.

We got takeout on the recommendation of a friend, and it did not disappoint. The place looked really nice to sit in, too, so next time we may eat in. I got the shrimp with broccoli, with shrimp fried rice. The shrimp in both were HUGE and perfectly cooked. Not your normal teeny tiny shrimp that you barely know are there. Very happy with my choice.

My 'go to' place for takeout chinese food. Try it, you'll like it!!
This place is always packed when we come. They do have a dining area to eat at. The dining area is pretty clean compared to other Chinese places. I got the combo platter with lo mein and pork fried rice. It was really good. Can't complain when you see their kitchen is clean and how they prepare the food. My daughter got the sweet and sour chicken. It was crispy on the outside and soft and rende in the inside. My husband got the general tso. That smelled and look good too. He said he likes to eat it there because you taste the full flavor of it. And it's still hot and crispy from when they fried it. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the general tso. We realized that we didn't have it on the tray. So we had to go back to the counter to get it. We also had ordered some shrimp egg foo young. Here they like to put the gravy of the egg foo young on top. I don't like it like that. So I walkways ask them to put it on the side.

I've been coming here since the Clinton administration. Food was always fantastic, it was reasonably priced, and the service was second to none. Do I still order from here? Yes, out of nostalgia and convenience, but I used to recommend Sun Sun as a destination restaurant for the area.
