Wonderful experience on a summer evening to be outside enjoying delicious cocktails and food with attentive and gracious hospitality

We dined here for a milestone anniversary. From the seating at a special table to the final after dinner drink, everything was outstanding. David, Albert and Fredo were very attentive and helpful. The general manager even stopped by. Crispy goat cheese and the melon salad started the meal, followed by Allen brothers steak and sea scallops. Dessert was their twist on tiramisu. Highly enjoyed our special dinner and recommend the Artisan Southport.

I've been meaning to try Artisan for some time, and it did not disappoint. The food was creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The service was warm and attentive, refilling glasses, continuously making sure we had everything we needed but never intrusive. Best of all, we were absolutely not rushed in any way. AND the servers did not remove the plates after each course until everyone had finished, such a nice courtesy that almost no one observes these days. I can now understand why Artisan has been around for so long. Attention to detail and making sure everything is done the way it should be. Kudos!

So sad to see the once vibrant and tasty Artisan reduced to little more than an overpriced option for (presumably) hotel guests. Limited menu options, uninspired flavors and bare bones service don't leave a favorable impression. Hope this restaurant can find its way back to its original vibe. For now I wouldn't recommend.

Everything was lovely - from setting to food to service. They really made us feel special for our anniversary dinner out.

Another great experience! Plenty of seasonal menu choices, prepared and served by professionals. The melon salad is outstanding.

Unheard of that a high end restaurant has no gluten free bread. What's so hard about keeping gluten free bread in the freezer? And, not a good sign that a person with celiac disease can only eat a salad.

I love this place. The menu has an excellent range of options, and every dish I have ever had here has been delicious. The portions are not stingy, and I look forward to having the leftovers I take home. This most recent time had the Berkshire pork chop and the cioppino. Outstanding. Ambience is great for a date or a night out with your partner. Service is top notch. Highest recommendation.

We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor seating but there was a boisterous event going on next door and dueling music playing. Food was really tasty- especially the seafood chowder and grilled octopus ( we shared several starters and small bites vs entrées.) Service was attentive and gracious. We will return!

My scallop entree was wonderful- I didn't care for the endive salad w watercress- you can't even eat the watercress and there was too much of it- I wish there were another simple salad choice beyond this one or the Cobb salad

Services, foods, atmosphere are great. My friend's birthday. I've asked the manager to bring my own cake. They were so nice allowed me and help put the candle and cut the cake with no extra charge. Service is exceptional with professional manner. The restaurant manager is the best impression. We are definitely come back.

We had a delicious lunch on the patio. Service was excellent despite their accommodating a large party. We took advantage of the well priced market menu and I can report that the fig salad was outstanding, a nice blend of salt, sweetness and acidity. My husband loved the crab cakes. I had the chopped seafood salad, which was well balanced and dressed. Very tasty. My husband loved the seabass a la plancha. We were also given great advice on a nice bottle of wine. Happy customers!

I always enjoy dining at Artisan as it is special. I definitely consider it a destination for a special event. No matter what my choice , the food is excellent and beautifully presented and the service has been attentive but unobtrusive.

We love the upscale but exceedingly comfortable setting particularly on their outdoor patio. Service is always attentive and prompt. The food is prepared excellently and the menu has a wide variety of dishes including excellent seasonal options.

Delightful dinner at Artisan. Ambience is elegant and stylish. Service was efficient and smart. Food was superb - we had the Lobster Fra Diavolo and the Cioppino and both dishes were excellent. Strongly recommend Artisan
