Excellent food and ambience, thank you! And cozy in the 5 degree weather. We will definitely go back.

Really lovely spot. Good food. Quiet enough for conversations even on Saturday night. Tuna tartare was excellent and different. Lots of satisfying choices that our group enjoyed- chicken, pot roast (short ribs) and scallops.

Dining at Artisan is always a delightful experience with the ambiance in the dining room and bar and outdoor dining, weather permitting. Once again the food and service were exceptionally good.

We sat in the bar area which was delightful and cozy. The fire was going. A perfect atmosphere for a winter evening!

We had a delightful pre-Christmas meal that evening.

First time visiting Artisan Restaurant within the Delamar Hotel in Southport, CT. I made the reservation for four via Open Table and mentioned it was a special occasion celebrating the munitions 24th birthday. We were seated in a nice semicircular banquet. Service was welcoming and very professional. The food is not particularly innovative but was very well prepared. The seafood chowder was excellent with a large bowl portion. Mini birthday cakes was a nice touch. We enjoyed it very much but prefer sister restaurant L'Escale at the Delamar in Greenwich.

Went for Christmas dinner. The food was superb. From the starter to the dessert everything was perfect. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The pairings for the prix fixed meal was perfect. Drinks were amazing too. Atmosphere and ambience was quiet even for a busy night. Lighting was calming and plenty of space next to your neighbors. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and made sure our experience was positive. Already looking to book another reservation here.

We've been coming to Artisan since it opened, but a recent visit was a real dissapointment. The food was mediocre, the service lackluster, while the prices are stratospheric. We won't be returning anytime soon.

We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Artisan on 12/10. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated. We had a nice table for 2, enjoyed Paolo who took excellent care of us and had a wonderful dinner. The timing of the meal was great, the food was all perfectly prepared, nicely presented and delicious. We enjoyed the wine Palo recommended to accompany our courses. It was 4 star experience. Valet parking was great on a rainy night but I think a restaurant of this caliber should have a place to check your coats. Sitting at an expensive restaurant with your coat balled up or hanging on your chair is not acceptable. The Greeter was also not very welcoming and not very friendly. She was having a bad day.

Great atmosphere. Tables spaced out well. Very quiet. No loud music. Felt like we had a private dinner. Bread was great. Butternut squash soup was great. Scottish Salmon was great. Apple tarte dessert was great. Peanut butter mousse was also very good. Carmen is a great chef. All the service members were friendly and very professional. My friend is going back for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town. But we will both be back. Best of the 4 Delamar restaurants that we have been to. Been to two in westport and one in mystic.

I recently scheduled a private dinner event at Artisan for our firm and it could not have been a more effortless, simple process. The service, food and energy were fantastic! We will definitely be booking them again in the future.

The food was fantastic. We went for a family member's birthday dinner and they even sent her home with a little homemade break. From the fireplace in the lobby to the relaxed pace of the meal, Artisan is top on our list of restaurants to go back to.

Lovely experience at Artisan! Staff are above and beyond, food was amazing and can't wait to go back!
