Have done takeout a number of times here - the shrimp, falafel, chicken kabob, and hummus are all delicious! Very fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices.

It was mine and my mom‘s first time coming here and everything was great. The food was delicious. The service was very nice. I love how the food tasted different than most Arabic restaurants. The presentation is also really great most of the other restaurants that I’ve gone to in CT plate your food like a kids meal. I definitely recommend coming by here. I feel like they’re also in a very convenient area because they’re near the highway. The prices were very reasonable compared to other Connecticut Arabic restaurants that I’ve gone to.

Kabab & Hummus House is a delightful addition to Southport’s dining scene, offering an authentic taste of Egypt that leaves a lasting impression. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and welcoming staff set the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.

The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, featuring a variety of traditional dishes. The hummus is a standout, creamy and rich, with just the right amount of garlic and tahini. Pair it with freshly baked pita, and you’ll find yourself coming back for more. The kababs are equally impressive—grilled to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. Each bite is a harmonious blend of spices that transports you straight to the streets of Cairo. The lamb Kabab and shawarma selections are my personal favorites, along with the hummus. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of Egyptian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Kabab & Hummus House offers a memorable dining experience that’s worth every bite. This hidden gem is definitely a must-visit for anyone in Southport.

Hands down! Best Mediterranean restaurant in town. Today me and my friends decided to go to Kabab & Hummus house for lunch, that was the best decision we made.. the food was freshly made, absolutely delicious and so flavorful. I highly recommend for everyone to try, they have so many different dishes to try. My favorite chicken shish and falafel platter (must try)!
Oh and not to forget the owner (Yasser) he is very friendly and welcoming.
Will definitely go back and try other dishes :)
