There aren’t many tasty Asian spots in Fairfield county, but Mama Chow is amazing. The staff there are so nice! They are always so welcoming and friendly. Some of the best appetizers are the hot oil dumpings and the spicy cucumbers. I love the laksa noodle soup as a main dish. It’s warm and hearty. Overall, Mama Chow is one of my favorite Asian spots (if not my favorite) in all of southern CT.

Mama Chow is a must-try spot in Connecticut! The pork belly bun was absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The ribs were just as impressive—fall-off-the-bone and packed with bold flavor. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and food that hits the spot.

Loved everything. We tried the spicy cucumbers, wings and Vietnamese rolls to start. For mains, we had the house special chicken curry and KLM. Excellent service and the food is cooked fresh to order. I especially like my Roku and ToniC had a round ice cube.

Luv the authentic flavors lf hot oil dumpling and koh loh mee with wonton, juicy bbq pork and savory chilli pickle, tender beef renden and flavorful gravy and smooth sweet pandan cotta.

I liked it. I've certainly had better but for this area I thought it was good. The place is low key, no frills which is fine by me and the service was efficient. Whoever said it was like Mecha is off. Mecha is like a non-Asian person's interpretation of food where most of people working there are of Hispanic origin. MC's had Asian people of varying countries of origin running the place. It honestly reflected the menu but I found it pretty close to authentic across the varying Asian cuisines based on what I had. Looking forward to coming and trying other things. Why does that even matter? It won't for most but for me it tells me the legitimacy of a place. Just like I'm less likely to eat at a soul food place run by Jamaicans. Not authentic.

Absolutely delicious! The KFC Bao, the Pho King, and the taro bubble tea were all excellent. The staff are very attentive and caring, especially to those who have allergies.
