I had a boy that going to Basil's for years because when we had gone there was this guy who was running the front of the restaurant yelling and screaming and making the whole atmosphere very uncomfortable. However, we decided after years later to try again. And OMG I am so happy we did. First of all, we're greeted very cordially and didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our serva was a remarkable young lady who was just a real delight. The food was outstanding. The portions were a huge and the prices were really reasonable. I'm so glad that I took the chance to try this restaurant again because the first time I had gone I thought would be the last. Thanks Basil's for upping your game

Best pasta sauces around, the Alfredo sauce, tomato sauce, and gorgonzola pasta dish are phenomenal! Chicken parm and marsala are the best around. Excellent service and nice atmosphere.

I was coming through town, decided to yelp the best rated restaurant in Stafford and go there. I am surprised that this is the best in town. The good; waitress was amazing! Very attentive and a joy to speak with. Homemade bread was very good. Portions are tremendous. Go here if you’re hungry! The bad; floors were sticky. I used the restroom and the sound of my shoes sticking to the floor was inescapable. Flies kept landing on my food in front of me. The decade old grease kitchen smell was overpowering. Owner or mgr ‘welcomed’ me in by not saying a word and threw a menu on a table.(rest of staff were very nice though) Food: was ok. I ordered a chicken special which was essentially 2 chicken breasts covered in thanksgiving stuffing and drowned in a thick white mushroom gravy sauce that already formed a skin when I got it. Tasted ok, and no way I could even start the baked potato in tin foil it came with. French onion soup- don’t bother. Tasteless and the bottom of the bowl was filled with all the burnt debris that the barely cooked onions cleaned off the back of the grill.
