Had our Valentine’s Day diner. Great food and atmosphere! Really good price for the quality and quantity.

We went on Valentine's day for our Anniversary dinner and realized our mistake. Its like going out for New Years... Over Crowded and over priced for the Holiday. When they sit you and tell you they need your whole order at once from apps to dinner, you know this probably not a great place for an intimate dinner. They have you packed in and you are elbow to elbow with the tables on either side of you and personnel conversations are not possible. In my opinion, that's a restaurant that is putting number of plates ahead of a fine dining experience. Too Bad because it looks like a cute bar and the food was half way decent but the atmosphere and ambiance did not exist!!

This visit was incredibly disappointing, especially because we’ve enjoyed dining here many times in the past.
From the moment we walked in, the woman at the host stand seemed visibly irritated and unwelcoming. Her demeanor immediately set an uncomfortable tone for what should have been a pleasant evening out.
At one point, my four-year-old was walking to the bathroom and made a small amount of noise — nothing disruptive, just typical behavior for a young child. She turned and “shushed” him, then looked around at other tables with an expression that clearly showed annoyance that a child was present.
Aside from being rude, it was also incredibly insensitive. She has no idea whether a child may have special needs or other challenges, and reacting that way toward any child is inappropriate.
When I addressed how unprofessional it felt, instead of apologizing, she laughed and doubled down.
That moment alone ensured we will not be returning.
Mystic has many restaurants that treat families with kindness and basic respect. I strongly encourage ownership to consider A) how guests are being treated and B) whether this is truly the type of attitude they want representing their business.
We genuinely used to love coming here. It’s upsetting to say that won’t be happening again.

We’ve dined here many times over the years and always had positive experiences, which makes this visit especially upsetting. From the moment we arrived, the woman who identified herself as a ‘manager’ at the host station appeared visibly irritated and unwelcoming. Her demeanor set a negative tone right away, and unfortunately, it only got worse. When I addressed how inappropriate and unprofessional that felt, instead of apologizing, she doubled down and laughed in my face. That response alone guaranteed we will not be returning. Mystic has many wonderful restaurants that welcome families and treat guests with kindness. I strongly encourage ownership to take a hard look at who is representing their business on the floor — because based on this experience, the person managing that evening came across as deeply unhappy to be there, and that energy is felt by guests. Is that really who you want representing your restaurant? We truly used to enjoy coming here. Sadly, that won’t be happening again.

Mystic has many restaurants that make families feel welcome. I strongly encourage ownership to take a serious look at how guests are being treated, because this interaction fell far below basic standards of hospitality and respect.

Excellent menu, Amazing food, fabulous drinks, horrible service. Too many good options to choose from on the menu. Everything I ordered was delightful and came out quickly. No children’s menu but they were very accommodating preparing a simple plate of pasta and chicken with green beans. I assume I would have given a much better review if the service wasn’t terrible. After considering leaving I placed my order with the hostess because if an absent waitress. When she was present she often invaded my personal space and placed cutlery in the bowl I was presently eating from, removed a plate from under me mid bite, dropped a rather messy bowl which got on my daughters clothes, and removed cutlery and waited to delivered new cutlery well after the food arrived.
Again no complaints about the food it was excellent. Was delivered the wrong item from what I ordered because the waitress did not write anything down but ate it anyways. Top dish is the polenta and butternut squash ravioli.

Bravo Bravo is an institution and where all the locals go. The location downtown, interior design, colors, large windows, and attention to detail are all immaculate. Our server was very good and the food came out quickly. However, I was really disappointed with the food. The carnitas tacos were made with soggy pulled pork and not crispy at all. My burger was over cooked and over salted with soggy fries. I probably should have ordered pasta, but I wasn't in the mood after eating too much pasta over the holidays.
I suspect it was an off night and/or the head chef was not cooking. I will probably give them another chance next time I'm in town. Or I may just go to the Oyster House, which has always been excellent.

The miserable unprofessional cold hearted host that should be terminated immediately for not following Health Laws to protect the Customer's eating at Bravo Bravo and completely discards employee labor laws at the same time expecting their employees to work and serve Food with the Flu or be fired for not showing up Sick is exactly how they are running there restaurant so please be very careful about where you decide to eat out they don't care about your health whatsoever

Loud atmosphere, people yelling to talk to each other. Charming place regardless. I loved the candles-nice touch. The food-the steak was pretty good, lots of flavor but different than any steak I’ve had before. The chicken parm was nothing special. Great service!

My husband and I were looking forward to trying the food based on the menu. We are in hospitality, own, and run a restaurant. When a new guest walks in, hosts are the first point of contact to set the tone of the establishment. The hostess at this restaurant was abrupt, stared at us as if we were an inconvenience to her, and did not welcome us when we walked up to the hostess station. We asked for a table for two, in a restaurant that had 3 tables occupied. She was very unapproachable and instantly made us feel like we were inconveniencing her by asking for a table. She said hold on as she looked at her list. She sat us, and know one came over to offer drinks, or interact so we left. Again, food looked great, and hopefully this hostess has a better day the next time new guests come in to dine at this establishment. She set a pretty poor representation of this restaurant that’s for sure. Could be shift change, could have been a busy day, all things we understand, but if one of our team members ever treated a customer this way, we would be concerned.
