They had a lobster appetizer with Madeira cream sauce and we ordered it thinking we would treat ourselves since it was $30. It wasn't worth $5. It had very little lobster, smatterings of cream cheese or sour cream not sure, and home fries covered in brown sauce that tasted nothing like Madeira, in fact it had no taste at all. The pork belly tacos were barely edible. Even the creme brulee the crust was not completely caramelized. I have a feeling no one in this restaurant tastes anything that they're making. If they do they have really bad taste. It was a pretty disappointing birthday experience for my wife and I.

Great location in Mystic with parking and a view! Servers were friendly and hostess was too! Great impression from beginning to end. Food was delicious!

Absolutely beautiful outdoor dining high up on a rocky hill overlooking the ocean in Mystic! Wonderful service and food as well. Great big kudos Rocks21 😊

My husband and I dined at Rocks 21 on June 20 because we were looking for a restaurant with a water view. The food was very disappointing. We got shrimp cocktail and bacon wrapped scallops; I had one scallop and it was spoiled as was one of my shrimp (I couldn't eat it). I got clam strips for my entree and they were okay, albeit a bit over cooked. Our server was pleasant, but not very attentive. We won't be going back.

Excellent food from an interesting and varied menu, and great service. The burratta bruschetta was outstanding, as were the small but mighty (with flavor) Narragansett mussels.

We had an early dinner and so it was quiet inside as most others were outside on the patio. Choices were excellent and the service outstanding.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing dinner here! The staff were all so friendly, the service was great, the food delicious, and the view was stunning. I highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the food at rocks 21! What stood out the most were the crab cakes and the garlic wine mussels. They were amazing! Service was good. Ambiance was okay (I think we got unlucky because there was a screaming baby in both of the dining rooms). But besides that, our experience was great! Will definitely return.

Not enough bartenders in the bar downstairs and the bartenders upstairs ignore u when u come up for a drink

It was so loud at 6:15 pm that we could barely hear each other across the table due to the band downstairs. Had we known, we would not have booked the reservation here as my husband has difficulty hearing. Also, a table in the bar area is not what I planned on with a reservation, I wish we could have been seated in the dining room as we expected.

Went for a girls weekend dinner. Food was excellent. We sat outside and had a beautiful view

Really great. Welcoming for kids: they seemed genuinely happy to have our 3 year old in the party. They immediately brought crayons and a kids menu. Meanwhile, the adult menu was fantastic. Really creative appetizers and mains that did not skimp on protein. I got the halibut and my rice had 5 XL shrimp in it + mussels. It is rare for me to not finish a plate and I barely could. Whole family was happy. Great dinner with the family. We will be back.
