Lighthouse is Mystic’s cutest bakery. Their breakfast sandwich’s are my favorite, specifically the Mystic Melt! I also enjoy the No Pulp sandwich, with pico de gallo, for a healthier option. Their coffee does not disappoint either. I ordered the illy nitro cold brew. As for pastries… I could not resist. I spent 3 days and 2 night in Lighthouse’s Airbnb and bought almost every pastry they offered. I would definitely recommend going to Lighthouse Bakery for a bite to eat, some caffeine or even a stay in their Airbnb.

Parking: The buisness is easily accessible by foot or by car. Lighthouse has their own parking lot and is less than a five minute walk to the heart of Main St. in Mystic.

Kid-friendliness: Lighthouse is a kid friendly environment. Families can make it a quick stop or stay a while to enjoy the indoor and outdoor seating. There are items such as pancakes, eggs, and home fries for younger ages who may not be as adventurous yet.

We loved this spot in the heart of downtown Mystic! This location was within walking distance of Mystic downtown shopping and vendors. We easily found parking in the morning. Lighthouse bakes all of their items fresh in house and offers quite a variety of food and drink options. The environment is homey, warm and welcoming. Their top sellers of breakfast include the Classic OG & the Big 55. They offer a current winter coffee menu as well as your classic go-tos. Their nitro cold brew is also a great pick! If you’re a runner, be sure to also check out their Saturday AM run club with free coffee and some post-run event offerings. They have outdoor seating that is enclosed and heated as well as a few tables inside to get cozy. They offer milk alternatives and merch to purchase too!

My friends and I stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee before heading out of Mystic. Perfect spot, amazing breakfast sandwiches, and yummy coffee! Would recommend to anyone, the staff plays cool music and creates a kind atmosphere. If we come back to Mystic, we will be here again!

We were only in Mystic for one night but we came here for breakfast sandwiches twice in that time and both times it was fast (no big line!), very delicious, and the food was delightfully hot (no one wants a lukewarm breakfast sandwich!), which we really appreciated. The fact that they have their own parking lot/area right there is a big perk in Mystic!

My friend and I are visiting Mystic from Ohio, this was the best breakfast we had on our 3 day stay. We ordered the French toast and iced caramel lattes. Both were delicious.

I ventured into Lighthouse this morning for the second time since moving to Mystic a year ago. Hoping they had worked out the mediocrity of my first visit back in September, I asked the gentleman at the counter if I could taste the coffee. He informed me that no, I could not sample it but I could purchase it. When I gently explained I found the coffee "not great" on my first visit, he stiffened up and advised me to buy my coffee elsewhere: "Go to Starbucks."
It's only for so long that a business can sustain itself on the sympathy of the community. We all want to support small businesses with a charming, big-hearted story. However, if you cannot deliver upon basic customer service, your business will soon fall flat, replaced by an entity that understands the value of truly serving customers: be polite, show kindness, become a partner to your customer. This is how a business thrives. Lighthouse has a fair amount of work to do here.
I will never step into this cafe again. I've taken the employee's orders to heart and spend my money elsewhere.
