Went second morning in a roll. Purchased parm leek croissant and salted caramel cookie for my journey. Excellent cookie. They offered to heat the croissant. Base of croissant was burnt but the staff decided to pack it up anyway, with the burnt base facing up. Why would you knowingly pack burnt food for a takeaway, wasting a customer’s money.
Day 1. Got the ham and broccoli cheese quiche, and cheddar ham biscuit. Girl at counter taking order was helpful in offering to warm up the quiche cancelling my pretzel order when I realise there was quiche. Girl handling out the orders could do with a little more initiative. Pastries are moreish. Finished up and left no crumbs. Literally.

Ordered 3 dozen jumbo cupcakes for a wedding rehearsal dinner one month in advance. I asked for them to be decorated with a dusty blue accent color. When my daughter went to pick them up they had not been decorated and was told they did not have any dusty blue coloring. The attitude and carelessness of the person at the counter who spoke to my daughter as well as myself over the phone was extremely unprofessional and rude. I still am not sure why we were not contacted and given other decorative options. I mean really, you are a cake decorator, you couldn’t mix white and navy blue frosting and stick a flower or some swirls on a cupcake? I could have bought the same cupcakes at Walmart for 1/3 the price. Thanks for the $10 off you gave at our request. Your customer service and professionalism is sorely lacking. You cared so little about disappointing and pleasing a paying customer trying to support your local small business. Next time I will order from Sift, they have never disappointed in the past.

Spectacular breakfast sandwhich. I got the sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel (also added garlic/herb cream chee which was the right move). Fast and convenient grab-n-go option.

I bought a muffin and cookie yesterday and could not stop eating. This morning I bought a cinnamon roll. I saved for my arrival on Long Island and after I took the first bite I thought: maybe the ferry didn’t make it and I am actually in heaven. Food heaven. I couldn’t stop eating. Now I am stuffed and happy and know that there is yet another wonderful shop in Mystic I have to come back to! Awesome handmade pastry and a proof that all Starbucks and other chains will never have the quality local and handmade pastries have.

Purchased a layer cake for my sister's birthday because she requested it. The cake was dense, moist and very delicious. The frosting was overly sweet but what she wanted. The price however was high, $66. For a 10" cake that was really nothing special

Great little bakery for a quick snack detour off of a road trip! The scones, muffins & cupcakes are fabulous. Outside window pickup with 2 small tables during warmer weather. I got the last strawberry, chocolate chip scone with a chai latte & delicious as always!
Got a variety of different pastries, and all were bad. They also messed up our order.

Parking: You can park in back of building if you are just taking it to go!
I ordered my wedding cake from Li's Bakeshop in December of 2023. It was for 60 people and was a two tier chocolate cake with oreo filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. I was able to show the baker a picture of the design I was thinking about in the frosting and asked for a little bit of gold on it as well. The result was even better than me or my husband could've imagined! It was the absolute perfect, sweet ending to our amazing day!! All of our guests couldn't stop telling us it was the best cake they've ever had. We were able to save two slices and they're in the freezer awaiting our first anniversary. We've been long time customers and wouldn't have trusted anyone else to make our cake for us.
