Locals know ... The Mill is home to some of the area's best food. Add Masa to the top of the list. Pretty much everything is made in house, down to the mustard. Today we split the bacon egg cheese and the sausage egg cheese both on focaccia. Freash delicious food and such nice people. From the homemade pico de gallo to the service, such a great find. Can't wait to go back, dinner is next. Everything but the empanadas can be made gluten free.

Dietary restrictions: Many Gluten free options

We stumbled along this killer food at Velvet Mills. This food was incredible. Like forget you’ve ever eaten anything before this food. The pesto empanada with hot sauce and the Peruvian chicken sandwich are literally to die for.

This place is such a hidden gem! Everyone working there is so sweet and kind. The food is absolutely out of this world good. They make their own bread, sauces and brines! Everything tastes so authentic and fresh.

We had empanadas this afternoon and went back for take out for dinner. Absolutely the BEST sandwiches we have had in a longggg time! Wings “top notch” with a side of pickled veggies, empanadas best I ever had! We had the Peruvian chicken and the Caesar sandwiches. Absolutely cannot beat these sandwiches and the price is right!

Wheelchair accessibility: Located in the Velvet Mill with accessibility throughout! Shopping, dining and more!!

We were at the mill for another reason, but the divine aromas had us follow our noses to this treasure! Decided we had to try it, and it is now at the top of our favorite lunch spots in the area. Seriously- some of the best sandwiches we have ever had! I tried the veggie the first time, and it was fantastic! It was packed with so much flavor and texture- between the pickled and roasted veggies, fresh greens, goat cheese, crunchy potato sticks, and sauce- all made right there with fresh ingredients. And the bread! I have to eat gluten-free, and they have a house-made gluten free focaccia that they can build their sandwiches on that I wouldn’t know is missing the gluten. My gluten-eating kid raved about it in one of their breakfast sandwiches, too, but they’ve also raved about the basil bread and bao bread also available for gluten-eaters. We have tried various sandwiches and empanadas at this point, and all have been wonderful. And don’t miss their lemonade- it is the best, made with fresh mint and not overly sweet.
The staff and chefs there are friendly and very accommodating for dietary needs. And the prices are extremely reasonable… sandwiches and empanadas were between $7 and $12, and the lemonade is I think less than $2.
We since talked to a number of people who have establishments throughout the mill, and all raved about the food here. That says a lot. If you are in the area, I highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: They had vegetarian options and gluten-sensitive options, and were willing make adjustments to menu items to work around dietary needs.

Kid-friendliness: They have a grilled cheese option for kids, and the area is wide open with lots of space for kids to move around.
