I rarely have Mexican food after moving from California to New England, while this place is an absolute delight! We ordered fresh margarita (cinnamon&sugar), fish tacos, and lava cake—I enjoyed all of them!

Had such a lovely experience dining at Milagro Cafe this afternoon. We ordered the daily specials for both food and drinks: shrimp tacos, braised beef texmex quesadilla, fresh cherry margarita, and a fresh apricot margarita. Everything was delicious and the service was phenomenal. A great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal with friends!Parking: Parking can be tricky to find, but definitely worth looking around for.

Best Mexican restaurant we've ever had, period! This cute little modern Mexican gem in Stonington was an absolute delight. We chose to sit upstairs and started with fresh Margheritas. We had the chips and 3 types of salsas as an appetizer and couldnt stop talking about the flavors and the chips themselves. All were amazing but the medium was our favorite. We had the mole enchiladas and Chile relleno for our meals. Both were amazing and every bite was delicious. Highly recommend both! For dessert we had the Mexican bread pudding and flan. Sooooo good!! Overall an amazing flavor experience and would highly recommend. The next time we're up near the area, Milagro will be on our list!!

We had a nice time at Milagro's on Sunday. Cozy modern American Mexican atmosphere with a bar/lounge area on the first floor and more dining tables on the second floor. The menu online was more descriptive and offered pictures compared to the lackluster menu in person. Parking could be challenging especially during busier times. We went during a rain storm and lucked out with a spot on the street right out front. Service was attentitive and gracious, however we got a dumbfound look when we entered and didn't know where to sit as we didn't really know the options as it was our first time there. The food the kitchen put out was pretty good. It was Mexican with a modern flair. We had the chips and salsa which came with some freshly made chips with 3 different salsa's to try. We also tried the cauliflower tacos appetizers which were deep fried on a small double tortilla with some guacamole and chopped onions and tomatoes. It was very tasty and sufficient for a appetizer. For my meal I had the Baja Fish Tacos, which were delicious. The fish tasted fresh and was crispy. The tacos had a mayo-style shredded slaw on them, which I didn't think I would like but was actually pretty good. It was served with a scoop of Mexican rice. My date had the Enchiladas al Horno as a vegetarian option. It was a lasagna style enchilada with a couple of layers with lots of onions, mushroom, and spinach. She wasn't really a fan of the amount of onions though. For dessert, we had the Apple Churro Bites which were yummy little morsels of a molten liquid apple filling in some dough with a fantastic carmel dipping sauce. We also had the Dulce De Leches Tres Leches Cake, which I'd skip next time. It was kinda dry and not so fresh. Now that I think of it the Churro Bites dipping sauce was probably the Dulce De Leche for the cake, though it was on Churro Bites plate. Hmmm. All in all, Milagro Cafe was pretty good and I wouldn't hestitate to give them another if I were in the area.

Amazing food and service. Teresa, our server was amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable about all the options. Easy to talk to and genuinely a nice person. Margaritas were amazing, short ribs were amazing as was the salmon. Amazing guacamole. The vegetables were amazing as well. Spinach, mushrooms, sprouts, garlic, just amazing. Not just your typical green beans and broccoli. The only thing that could’ve had a better presentation was the refried beans. They were just kind of plopped on the plate. Maybe if they were put onto the plate with a pastry type dispenser, maybe a dollop of sour cream on them or something along those lines, other than that everything was banging, and we had an amazing experience. The only downfall would be it’s not very handicapped assessable. The whole area is not. It’s right in Stonington borough, on water Street where if you go in the summertime, parking is almost impossible we chose this time of year because we were there to see the lobster trap tree.

Went with my partner and had a wonderful time. Atmosphere is very cozy, front of house was fast and very nice. Food is wonderful. Got ceviche, quesadilla de hacho de mano, a steak burrito, and margarita. Everything was excellent, would definitely get the quesadilla again.

Food was ok on a somewhat limited menu. Chicken was dry in the Enchiladas. Our server was quite surely and we felt that we were inconveniencing her. She also seemed unaware of what the drink specials there were. Completely unimpressed-will not

We love their fish tacos and we start off with their chicken quesadillas. This place has the most authentic Mexican food that we’ve had since going to Mexico.

Nice spot right in the heart of downtown. We have given it a few tries now. The Baja fish tacos and the salsas were good. The margaritas left something to be desired. I highly recommend going with a local beer instead.

YUM! If you're in the mood for Mexican (especially after or during Antique shopping) this is a fabulous find!!! To start the Cinnamon and Honey Margarita is AMAZING! Sweet with a taste cinnamon and the tequila is infused with the cinnamon and honey. Dipped in graham cracker and cinnamon spice! Delish! Nacho chips and selection of dipping sauces was great! Entrees were steak quesadillas! Side salad was fresh, crisp, with rice. Quesadillas have a fried tortilla - very good!! Our Server was attentive, helpful with our selections as well! We will be back!
