We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm without reservations and were seated immediately (Thursday night in late April). The dining area faced the waterfront, looking clean and classic. Service was fast, courteous, professional and friendly, attentive without being smothering. We ordered bread which is made on site, warm and delicious; entrees included the Seafood Squid Ink Pasta and a glazed salmon and black bean risotto special. Both were cooked perfectly and very tasty. Portion size was good. Coffee was a little bitter; i usually take it black but found myself wishing for some sugar. Desserts were carrot cake and creme brulee which were ok. The small parking lot was full, but we found street parking. Prices were medium high, ok for a special evening out.

All I have to say is...holy $hit...this place is amazing. Amazing food. My husband loved the king crab and the salmon was sooo good and so crispy and the sauce with the artichokes and arugula was perfect. We had the crab dip and I sat there and told my husband next time we each need our own. The service was good but the food can take maybe 15-20 minutes which is perfect because everything is so rushed these days that my husband and I had nice conversation and had an amazing view. The upstairs was a little warm for me but I'm heavily pregnant and run hot but my cold natured husband said it was the perfect temperature. He had a great jack and coke. The risotto was so good and the Dijonaise with the potatoes that came with his crab was amazing. We're both from the south and find it so hard to get good food up here and we both agreed that a place like S&P would do amazing down south where things are well seasoned and the flavors are balanced because they hit all those marks!!! It was so good y'all. We haven't had anything better in the year we've lived here and we plan to be back often. I wish I had more pictures of the food but all I've got is an empty hot crab dip because it was so good we didn't have time for pictures. Wow. Great job to the owners and staff. Amazing place. Amazing views. Amazing food.

Started off with the best table and the orchestra began with drinks and appetizers and ended with the best entrees possible. Wait staff and food quality are top notch. They attend to every need. You just sit and wait for the story to unfold in front of you while you enjoy beautiful views. Great time and have been going here for more than 20 years. There’s a reason why they are a staple in mystic quisine.

My gosh! So good. Every time. Prices - super high Food - spectacular Service - superior Ambience - perfect blend of casual and class. Our waitstaff was top notch and the food had nice richness where so many places opt for the opposite extreme of too light. S&P has both. Needless to say, their attention to GF and Vegan is unrivaled in this area. I'm neither category but really wanted one of the GF entrees because sounded awesome. It was! Salmon over creamy quinoa. Plenty of Parmesan. I haven't had calamari as good as this in 20 years. Absolutely gorgeous with olives, capers, & lemon. Classic and perfectly cooked. Not breaded and fried, although I like that too. If you're gonna drop serious bank, which in inevitable in Mystic, This is the place!!

I have always had a great experience here. if you eat upstairs the view is one of the best for a restaurant in Mystic, overlooking the river and bridge. it's expensive, sure, but the food is delicious. I would recommend the crab dip! I also usually get the rocket salad with scallops. It's a pretty restaurant and the service is good. Even when it's been busy I haven't been forgotten about there.

Went here on a date with my girlfriend. Kristen and TJ were our servers and so helpful and kind, amazing service and atmosphere! Some of the best food I've ever eaten! It's worth every penny! If you are ever in Mystic, CT, I highly recommend this place with every fiber of my being. I got their grilled salmon special, and it was the best salmon I have ever had. It's so good that if I wasn't so full after having it(which is one of the best signs of good food), I would've gone for seconds. Check this out if you love seafood and even if you don't! ???

I went last night and they never disappoint. From appetizer to desert. Perfect flavor balance. The staff is amazing and after we were done the Chef came out to the tables asking how he did. I travel an hour and a half past some high end restaurants to go here. Looking out to the water in the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in makes the travel worthwhile. Thank you.
