Beer'd Brewing Co. - The Mill

We really wanted to like this place. BUT, the bartender was so condensing and arrogant we couldn't stay. We have been to ~400 breweries and know what we want/like. He felt the need to tell us how we were wrong and didn't know what we were talking about. We would have stayed for several AND bought a shirt or two. Had one and left. No idea how most of the beers are. The ones we had were mediocre.

Its harder and harder to find GOOD beer. Beer'd always delivers with an exceptional IPA menu, unique seasonal brews and always Midnight Oil... one of the best oatmeal stouts I've had. The culinary scene in coastal Connecticut is incredible, these guys definitely deliver the brews to start off any night or enjoy with the best dinner. (We found that many restaurants in the area serve their offerings). Definitely a must try when in the Stonington / Mystic area! Cheers!

One of my favourite micro breweries in the area! Great little tap room and the beers and IPA’s are delicious. Swing by if you’re in the area!

The beer was delicious as always and Aaren was an amazing host! Cool industrial location with some really awesome merch!

Who is actually rating their beers 5 stars? Must be friends and family because honestly they have been open since 2005 and still have only subpar beer, but yet it’s everywhere! I’m gonna go on a limb and say that’s it’s because they are in an area void of decent breweries. People save yourself a trip and just go to Tox or Fox Farm you’ll thank me later.

Really unpleasant customer service experience today with one of the staff members as we were navigating the space. Put such a negative mood to the interaction that we didn’t bother getting a beer.

Beerd is killer, beers are great, mill is perfect place to chill and hang.

We recently hosted an event at Beer'd and had an incredible experience. Precious was extremely helpful with recommendations, coordination with catering, and even returning a bracelet one of our guests lost days after the event. She went above and beyond and made everything easy! Our guests also had many positive things to say about the space and the service. I would recommend Beer'd and working with Precious to anyone hosting an event in the area!

Love this place . Nestled between many shops in an old factory .Lots of beer choices . Will definitely be back

Great atmosphere, great beer?

horrible brewing i ever deal with , never deal with them again …

Came on a Saturday when the additional seating area in the atrium is supposed to be open and it was closed with nowhere near enough space inside the brewery for everyone who wanted to drink and the bartender wasn’t even nice about it. We drove an hour to come and had to leave because of this. If you have posted hours to be open, they should be honored for all seating areas.
