Flour Shop Bagels is hands down the best bagel spot I’ve ever been to! I had the Classico, and it was absolute perfection—the buttery oil, salt, perfectly ripe tomatoes, and seasonings all came together in the most amazing way. I’ll definitely be dreaming of that bagel for a long time. My wife had the Lox and loved it—tons of delicious fish for the price. Even the maple glaze bagel was incredible just plain. The bagels have such a satisfying chew to them. This place is a must-visit for any bagel lover!

Favorite bagels in CT!! The sandwiches are awesome but the bagels are what make them a cut above the rest. Always worth a stop!
A bagel restaurant where people have been waiting in line since morning. I changed the salmon bagel to scallion cream cheese. It has a lot of salmon and is delicious. If the coffee feels a bit strong, it's okay to drink it with milk (like cream milk) on the side!
Parking: If you go right back to the building, there is a parking lot.

My fiance and I were in town from Washington, DC visiting family and decided to check out The Flour Shop's new location, as we had previously had the opportunity to indulge in their bagels while Hannah was at the Velvet Mill. I didn't think I could ever find a bagel that could measure up to the bagels that I make at home, but .....wow, The Flour Shop's bagels have me beat! Hands down, the best bagels I've ever had and I've taste tested many in the DC area and on our travels. This not your standard bagel! The Flour Shop has elevated the bagel from a simple breakfast item to a gastronomic experience. If you think you know what a great bagel tastes like, I challenge you to try theirs and prepare to have your expectations exceeded. To those of you who live in close proximity of The Flour Shop, please don't pass the opportunity up to stop by for a toasted sesame seed or cinnamon raisin bagel and a spread of cream cheese (my faves!). Hannah has definitely inspired me to perfect my sourdough bagels since I can't be there to enjoy, but we will definitely be visiting again very soon.

I've had the OG and the Sweet Lou and they were both fantastic! My son had the grilled cheese and said that it may have been one of the best sandwiches he has ever had! The homemade bagels are amazing. The Flour Shop is a great option for early morning breakfast takeout. We are future regulars ?
