I have been to this location almost weekly for a few months now. It’s a quick and convenient stop for something small to eat and a cup of coffee or tea while we are at the Velvet Mill for the weekly market. Twice prior to this visit, I was missed (and after today, it almost feels as if I was intentionally skipped over,) in line; I’m short and usually the place is pretty busy, so it’s easy to miss me, no big deal.Today, it wasn’t really busy when I arrived. I ordered, and waited to pay. The person who took my order was making our (2) drinks. Another woman behind the counter saw me waiting (eye contact was made,) and started moving the people in line behind me right up next to me to take their order. She rings them up, while I am standing at the register and card reader because I'm waiting to be given a total so I can pay. She looks at me with a “move out of the way” look, and I say "hi, I am waiting to pay." She says “okay,” then picks up the card reader to give it to the people in line behind me. It's not even because I'm waiting on food and drinks to be made that's gonna take a bit, and they had easy to grab to go items, because they also ordered food and drinks that had to be made.The food is decent and always quick to come out, but be careful with hot drinks— I have to remember to ask for ice because each time we’ve been here, many times we’re unable to drink our lattes before we are done making a full loop around the farmer’s market.

Gabriella was great to work with for our wedding in August 2023! We visited the bakery to pick up a sampling of cakes/fillings/frostings and everything was delicious. We chose our options and emailed her and she confirmed right away. We ordered a small two-tier cake for us and a small one-tier cake for my parents, whose 50th anniversary was a week after our wedding. Both cakes were delivered on time and looked beautiful, and were exactly what we were hoping for! I'd recommend this bakery to anyone planning a wedding in the area!

Truly a dissapointment. This was my experience with Zest. As a long time patron I figured I would order my wifes birthday cake from them. I fully expected bakery prices and have no complaints from that point, but what we recieved was so far from bakery quality, that I wished I had jusy gone to the local super market. The cake we recieved was dense and flavorless making it borderline inedible and after a month of promoting this bakery to friends amd family only to be extremly embarresed by the results of this cake. Would NOT reccomend if you are buying for someone you care about. WOULD reccomend if you need a cake for the in-laws or somebody you arent very fond of.

I’ll never get a cake anywhere else! They made the best cake for a friends bridal shower and everyone loved it! Gave them the creative freedom to do what they thought would look best and they killed it. Everything tasted amazing and team was so friendly too. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much to Gabriella and team at Zest! They created the most amazing and delicious wedding cake and mini dessert bar for our wedding 10/6/23! I cannot speak highly enough about Gabriella and Zest, from initial booking and sampling of cakes and desserts to our wedding day they did a great job and were so easy and accommodating to work with. These desserts and cake were also so good! I will be ordering more desserts from Zest in the future! Thank you all so much, everything was beyond my expectations!

Very disappointed. I had a cake made for my daughters birthday, and while it visually it looked great, the taste and texture was not good. I've had cakes in the past from zest which were great, but I was let down by this cake. It had almost no flavor and was very dense and dry. The cake was eaten only a few hours after picking up, which makes me think that the dryness was from the cake being prepared way in advance before the pick up date.

Zest bakery and the folks that run it did a wonderful job on our Wedding Cake, this summer. We worked with Zest and Gourmet Galley together to cater our big day, and Gabriella and team did a beautiful job. They created a stunning Cake that pulled perfectly and professionally from the references we chose for our “look”, and they even went so far as to work with a close friend of ours who was hand-carving a unique wedding topper, to make sure they could coordinate the cake design and size. We really appreciate the extra effort and care put into everything and the ease of communication. The Lavender and Lemon flavors we chose were delicious! We highly recommend them for whatever service you might be considering! :)
