They will put pork in your food after you tell them you don't eat it. I filed a complaint with the Eastern Highlands Health District. These people don't believe in customer service or using gloves.

The chef was touching my food without gloves.
They gave me a pork egg roll when I told them I don’t eat pork and asked for a veggie one.
The dude at the front desk always has an attitude. Quite miserable to speak with.
They have no customer service skills, they do what they want.
I left the food on the counter. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company later And reporting them to the Department of health.

If you like gambling with food poisoning, this is the perfect place for you!!! If the front end is anything representative of the back end of this joint, we're talking biohazard levels of care. Pretty sure this place will get shut down if the owners and managers don't get arrested for attempted manslaughter first. I would feel safer eating off the floor of a porta-potty at a Warped Tour.

If I could describe the worst conditions of cleanliness and service alike it would be this place. Absolutely disgusting plates with mold/mildew, cups with grime, once we got the food we walked out. If our dishes looked this way how does the kitchen look? No freaking way.
Also called the health department. This place was FOUL. 0 stars how is this place open? Even the poor fish in the tank looked miserable without a filter.

Fantastic ramen, rivals the best places in Boston, incredible customer service and traditional menu, great options especially on a cold day. Can’t recommend enough!

DELICIOUS! We usually go to the location in East Lyme, but since they relocated, we decided to try out the one in Storrs. We ordered our usual: summer rolls and bbq pork/grilled shrimp vermicelli bowls. The rolls came out right away and were so tasty. The vermicelli bowls were loaded with fresh veggies and tender meat. Highly recommend!

Let me say food is not bad, but not great. Service is terrible. We walked in, sat down and the cashier kept yapping to who knows behind the counter. We then got the menu by myself then after another while we talked about going to another restaurant nearby. Right when we stood up, she then asked what we wanted to eat. We felt like she might get mad if we leave so had to order something.
While we were eating, there was this white woman walked in the cashier attitude totally changed. She was happy and welcomed that customer, but with our group we just got ignored.
One thing to mention there was flies in the restaurant so be aware of the cleanliness of this place.

Did they remove the review where I saw the cook make a spitting motion on my soup after I asked the server if we can have our drinks and it had been a while because he was smoking cigarettes outside? This was about a year ago.

If there were ever a restaurant that did not deserve its woefully low ranking, it is this one. The food is bright and tasty, as we shall discover throughout this vibrant and peppy review. As to the customer service, we cannot rightly expect over-the-top-American phoniness at such a place. This is not Las Vegas, people. The food is ordered and it is delivered. One pays. That's it, no frills needed as none are promised. We opened with the summer rolls and they were perfect. PERFECT. And the pairing of additional proteins was spot-hitting. The peanut sauce was excellent. Next was the pad thai, which was flavorful and fresh, and buttressed by the most well prepared shrimp I have ever had in New England, which, admittedly, is not known for its shrimp offerings. I grew up in the Gulf South, where people love shrimp more than most of their family members, and so I hope you'll trust my opinion. The General Tso was BANG BANG spicy and crispy as it could be. Delightful! An unexpected highlight was the iced Vietnamese coffee. The order redeemed a failing libation of the same name I had secured at Disneyland earlier in the summer. See that? Daddy's is an indefatigable and far-reaching gift.

It's just ok. I have eaten at a lot of ramen joints and so I might be a bit of a food snob but there was no wow factor about the food I tried. Not enough veggies, broth could have been more flavorful, the egg was hard boiled, meat was kind of tough. I got a small glass of water and it was not refilled until I asked at the end of dinner nearly an hour later. There are only 6 tables but they are small and are put together so there are only 3 tables, lots of bar space though. Good crab Rangoon.

There were no vegetables in the Pho. Sadly this was the worst pho I’ve had in my life. My order was legit broth chicken and noodles. I’m not sure how a Pho place screws up this bad.
