Feels like the place has gone downhill a bit.
When I got their banh mi last year it was amazing, but this time around it barely had any vegetables (or filling, for that matter). It was a real bummer.
Also, when I went for lunch, they were out of ramen noodles, banh mi sandwiches, fish cakes, and apparently didn't have any cups for hot tea, so I had to stick with water. The food we got was decent but not really worth the price. The papaya salad and fried...

DELICIOUS! We usually go to the location in East Lyme, but since they relocated, we decided to try out the one in Storrs. We ordered our usual: summer rolls and bbq pork/grilled shrimp vermicelli bowls. The rolls came out right away and were so tasty. The vermicelli bowls were loaded with fresh veggies and tender meat. Highly recommend!

If there were ever a restaurant that did not deserve its woefully low ranking, it is this one. The food is bright and tasty, as we shall discover throughout this vibrant and peppy review. As to the customer service, we cannot rightly expect over-the-top-American phoniness at such a place. This is not Las Vegas, people. The food is ordered and it is delivered. One pays. That's it, no frills needed as none are promised. We opened with the summer rolls and they were perfect....
