I'm sad to write this review because in the past the food was truly fresh and the menu was great for vegetarians. Lately however, especially last night, the quality of the food and actual preparation was awful. Two of the items I ordered, which I've ordered many times in the past, were as though the cook dumped an entire container of salt into my food. The drunken noodles was impossible to eat due to the salt content, and the portion was about half the norm. The tofu bahn mi portion was good, but it too had sauce all over it that was essentially a container of salt. I ended the evening with swollen feet it was that bad. I hope the owner sees this and rectifies to get back to what they used to be as this used to be one of our favorite places nearby as we are local residents.

This place is grossly underrated. I've seen bad interviews about a fried chicken sandwich. If you want a fried chicken sandwich, then go to Popeye's or KFC. This place has the most amazing food for really great prices. Plus you have the opportunity to mix any of their base dishes with any meat or topping that you would like. I can't say enough good things about this place. Especially if you're trying to eat towards the healthy side, nothing beats this place . I would eat there every day

We used to really enjoy this place, but time after time the portions get smaller, and the service seems to get worse. I pre-ordered for a certain time because I new I'd be in a rush, waited in line for 15 min past the time of my pickup to get the wrong entree and extremely stale fries. Upon asking for a refund for the entree I had to wait another several minutes and it took two employees to apparently figure out how a refund is issued. I can only hope I actually will get a refund since after losing 25 minutes in this process I left before they finish the refund. We definitely won't be returning, which is a shame because their food used to be really good.

This is third time here, and I can't get enough of it!! They have very unique choices and so far everything has been delicious. They're food comes out hot, fresh, and FAST! I would like to give my five stars to the amazing chef Kimmy! I can't wait to try more items on the menu.

Fresh Fork is in a nice little plaza in Storrs with roomy booths. We ordered take-out. My pulled pork sandwich came with chips and a pickle. It wasn't huge, but it was delicious. My wife had a drunken noodle bowl, which she thought was "a little salty," but she definitely enjoyed it.

Staff was incredibly helpful and the drinks were made great! However, upon talking to staff I learned that their tip jar earnings are kept by the manager and not distributed to those who actually work for them. I am tipping employees for their hard work, not to line the pockets of the owner. It is a disgusting practice I will no longer be supporting and I encourage the staff, many of whom are young adults, to find jobs that encourage and support them better.

One of the worst fried chicken sandwiches I’ve had. $10 and this is what they gave me. Picture posted here is a complete lie. The difference is borderline criminal. As you can see from the pics the piece of chicken is tiny, and the buns were stale. I would have gone back to get a refund if I didn’t have to run into work. Spend your money on a few McChickens instead.Edit: The owner was considerate and refunded me for both my orders after seeing the review. Hopefully this was a one off incidence, at the very least it’s comforting to know they will make things right.

tasty! bahn mi tastes great with pork or chicken, but it's the 2nd time I've gotten it for takeout, picked it up immediately and half the roll was already wet, soggy, and mushy to an inedible point by the time i got to my car, so I had to pick it apart to eat it ? unsure if it was made fresh or if they add a lot of wet ingredients to it without straining the moisture out first? probably won't be getting the bahn mi again unless I'm sitting down in the restaurant.

Here are pictures of the chicken sandwich they advertise, and then of the one they gave me. The difference should be criminal. And it was $10 for this sandwich too. As you can see the piece of chicken is basically nonexistent and the buns were very stale. Ordered two and they were both this disappointing. I should have gone back for a refund but I had to run to work. A McChicken would satisfy me more and I’d save $9.

Love the variety of the menu. The place was super clean and the food was really fresh and delicious. Good value for your money. Staff was helpful and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.
