Stopped at the Jefferson Fry in Vernon Ct for takeout. Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and a Classic burger. When I got home the crispy chicken was black, burnt to a crisp and inedible. I had throw it away. A total waste of money. I will not recommend Jefferson Fry and never eat at another one again.

This is only a review for there milkshakes. service is always great. But Dude 8 bucks for a shake with whip cream and mini couple cookies on top lol. And the shake is EXTREMELY small. no joke. probably the smallest shake i lve ever had. trust me you want NOTHING to do with these shakes. I kid you not i finished the shake in less than 2 minutes and under 10 sips. I feel violated that shake was so small 😂. my 1 year old daughter could finish 2 of those no problem. Like I'm literally going to uconn dairy bar because I felt like I just got a sample cup of a shake. that was maybe 1 scoop of ice cream and 1 scoop peanut butter and 8 dollars!!!! like holy crap. I feel like i got scammed lol. It wasn't even thick at all, almost just like slightly thicker then chocolate milk. I honestly want my money back but what can I do lol. They already made my sample cup. I'm so disappointed I kind of want to call my credit card company to void the transaction lol. Like this place just bent me over and didn't ask if I was OK with it. I am not messing around. Do you want to waste your money and not have even a good shake let alone more then a sample cup size then yes go here for your shake lol. I can't be the only one that feels this way... there's no way. usually shakes are tough to finish. If I wanted to waste more money I'd go grab a few more. so maybe 32 bucks in milkshakes would fill me up here lmao. I could probably buy a blender and good ice cream and make a shake better then this place for the same price as it would take to feel satisfied here (4 shakes). lost a lot of respect for this place for sure. would always go here for burgers and fries on the regular and thought, eh why not have a shake. HUGE mistake. I should of just took 8 bucks and flushed it down a near by toliet. I'd probably be happier. welp thanks for ruining my experience with you guys haha. and I never leave bad reviews but this was the biggest scam I've feel into. Going to take me a very long time before I could go back here. and I will def tell people never to get a shake here, ever... And will be making posts on social media because this is a disgrace to a milk shake lover. There is zero pitty here That was straight up highway robbery.

I had previously loved the food here but today made me not want to come back to the UConn location again. I ordered a steak n cheese fries with a ginger ale. I was handed a cup and told drinks are around the corner. When I went to fill up there was no ginger ale, nor many other drinks on the menu. I ask if the ginger ale was in a bottle maybe and the young lady looked at me confused. I told her there was no ginger ale on the fountain. The guy working the fry area came around and then told me that you have to mix sprite and coke to make ginger ale. I told him that can’t be possible as ginger ale is a caffeine free drink. He shrugged his shoulders turned and walked away. I didn’t want to fuss anymore about it in fear of being called a Karen, so I just got the sprite and waited for my food and left. I don’t understand why so many drinks would be on a menu if they are not actually available. Once I got to my spot to eat, I opened up the box and was horrified. The Steak and veggies were extremely over cooked. Burt more like it. I tried to eat a bite but the meat was crunchy and did not taste like the once’s I had before. I ended up taking everything off and eating a few of the fries plain. I feel like I wasted my time and money driving all the way out here for this. Very disappointing.

Walked in today at 9:50 excited to get a pizza before they closed at 10, to find out they locked their doors at the same time. I looked for any workers in the store and they stared at me with evil looks. I will not be returning to this location the minimum expectation is to stay open when your sign says so.

I'm visiting from out of state, and I like to find places to eat that I don't have back home. I love loaded fries, so this was a no-brainer for me. I ordered the taco fries without jalapeños. The service was great, the presentation was gorgeous, and the taste was excellent. The fries themselves, aside from any toppings, are thick-cut, earthy-tasting, legitimate freshly-made from handcut potatoes. The toppings were generous and flavorful, and didn't taste generic or store-bought. 10/10 would recommend, and I hope to eat here again on future visits to the area!
I went with my group of friends, the food we had was pretty good. However, the lady serving us was being rude for no apparent reason. We were being polite the whole time as well so it was a bit strange why she was acting that way but overall it was good.

I love this place. Everything about it. I really need to try some of the other things but for a quick grab some tenders and one of their amazing fry options just hits for me. The tenders and sauces are perfect. Breading, seasoning, crispness and really nice looking and tasting breast strips, like half breast each. They're just really good idk. And the fries too. Hard not to get the bacon and cheese. But the others are good too. Everyone working there has been great and it's laid back, quick and easy
I'm so dead I asked for extra ketchup and they filled half the bag up ?? whoever did that you're so funny ily.
