This is the first time I've ever had Indian food. I'm not kidding. The folks I was with are spice-averse, so we had to order everything mild, which is too bad because I wanted to see if I could handle a fiery vindaloo. I guess I'll have to come back by myself! But even mild, the food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Very enjoyable. The service was prompt and polite, too.

Highly recommend this place. I went there once when I was visiting the university and I’ve had to visit every single time I go to Connecticut now.

I got the vegetable Talis and my husband got the chicken - both were delicious. My daughter got the chicken mono as her dinner and it was plenty for a meal. My other daughter got the chicken curry and the garlic naan. Everything was tasty, service was amazing. We are traveling but we all said we would come back again tomorrow.

I really want to like this place--the food is good--but as a queer person, it has felt rather unwelcoming. I'll try again and adjust my review appropriately.

I tried to order take out on my way to start a local night shift. Called 20 minutes prior to closing, which Google says is 10:30. This was Friday night, not a slow day for most restaurants. First, I was told I can't order because they were closed, but they back tracked that by asking how quickly I can get there. I'm parked at Price Chopper so I'm basically already there. Then they say they only have two items available, no doubt because they had long ago started the work of closing the restaurant despite it not being closing time. I thought 20 minutes prior to closing was reasonable considering this is usually the time I'm quoted when ordering. I guess they don't like money. If you don't want customers 20 minutes prior to 10:30, then change your closing time to something earlier. I bet they would have happily been operating right up until closing time if college was in session with plenty of students, but screw the community I guess.

We ordered a selection of items to share together. All were delicious. Other places seem to only have one level of spice no matter how you request, Here we ordered some at mild and medium spice level which they produced to order. All were well balanced and tasty. This will be a new favorite place to go. Service was quick and staff very nice.

I had tried butter chicken and it was so good so I wanted to order it again but this time it wasn’t good. It was worst. It didn’t even looked like a butter chicken. I had high expectations from them but they disappointed me.

Chicken vindaloo is so good. It was pretty spicy (got medium) that I actually drank my entire Owala in 5 minutes, but it was awesome. 10/10.
