Yamato is the best sushi/poke place for miles and miles, definitely the best in the Storrs area. Their hours can be irregular and they close in the off season (summer), but I come by here regularly and am never dissatisfied.

This is my go to restaurant for Thai food. The food is great, service is good and prices are reasonable. However the music is always too loud and today not only was it loud but very offensive. I think it was on a Pandora hip hop station as there were a ton of expletives including the F word multiple times. I finally told the girl at the desk, after a dying the other patrons if they too were offended, (which they were,)that the music was inappropriate and too loud. They turned it down but did not change the station. I feel it is the responsibility of management to be aware how the atmosphere affects patrons and address it. Perhaps it is a language barrier? My daughter stated everyone knows the nuances of the F word. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but seriously management take note. If it were not for the atmosphere I would rate a 5 but don't we eat out for ambience as well as food? Hence the 3!!

Seriously the best indian also for the price. Lamb biryani is amazing. The protions are also huge.

I've tried many poke places, and this is definitely in the top two. Very polite service and they always give generous amounts of protein, sauce and toppings. It can get a little pricy but it's worth every penny.

I'm not very well versed in Indian food, but I thought this place was decent. I had the chicken saag and thought it was pretty good. It had a nice flavor and wasn't spicy, which I appreciated. However, the naan had clearly been sitting out for a while and it was bland and kind of cold. I would not order that again. I had a coupon and the lady at the counter clearly was not happy about it, but she ended up still honoring it. I don't have a particularly strong desire to return, but I would still go with friends if they wanted to.

I eat here a lot since I work in the area. I must say their customer service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept at all times. Prices are affordable and they serve big portions.

Love their food... We have been going there for a long time. This place is where we had our first Pakoras and Lassi. When our kids lived on campus, we would either go there to eat or take out and eat at their dorm room... now even they have graduated several years ago, we continue to eat their food either there or through take out. I drove 45 minutes each way to pick up our order last week! It is so worth the drive. We hope this place survives through this terrible time...
All good but your fried rice disgusting for real, you should improve your cooking skill on fried rice. Try to use overnight rice and put more oil on. Thanks.

This is probably the most delicious Indian food I've ever had. Don't look at the place. The buffet is okay but the special cuisine they have, like Lamb korma, curries, roghan Josh, saag paneer, etc. are absolutely amazing!!!

This was something that I was always looking for on campus. They offer Japanese food, including sushi, sashimi and build your own bowls. I really liked the quality of their food; I order two rolls, both were so freshly made and they prepared it pretty quick. I really liked food and definitely I'm gonna go back there. I tried their shrimp tempora and spicy salmonand it was yummy.
