The worst, this place had stellar reputation once, but now keep your love one at home if you can. Nurses are clueless aids are lazy your love could be dead in there and the body would be discovered only because of the stench.
My parents have been there for a year now. I can’t say enough about the staff, and the quality of care. I would and have highly recommended SUFFIELD house!
GREAT PLACE TO WORK
NICE STAFF AND GOOD ENVIRONMENT
VERY KIND AND HELPFUL
LOVE THE CLIENTS , RECOMENDED?
I booked several shift through my agency with them and as the day approaches they canceled the shift three hour before even. I have never worked for them so I'm confused as to why they would be this petty so yesterday again they did the same thing and this morning I was blocked. I am very sure that I would never work for you even if you were paying me more than that chicken scratch you offer. You need nurses remember that your facility have no staff so when you are going to be petty remember nurses talk. Do not pick up shift at this facility they are not friendly and professional.
My father ended up here after a stay in a hospital. It was supposed to be temporary but he decided, ultimately, to make it a permanent stay. He was taken care of very well by all the staff and thrived on the socialization opportunities afforded to the residents there. The family was always communicated with as to any issues with him or changes in medications. He did end up passing there and the staff was quick to notify us. He was very happy there and we were happy with his care. I was so happy, in fact, that when I was in need of rehab myself a few years later I requested to be sent to Suffield House. I was fortunate that they had a bed for me and I was very pleased with the treatment and care I received. I would highly recommend Suffield House.
My dad was in declining health when he landed in Suffield House after hospitalization from pneumonia. I was impressed with the personal contact from the administration from the start. They were communicative upon all stages of care, the nursing staff was caring and attentive and even the financial office as great. Although he has passed, I would have not hesitate to entrust my elder here.
My Grandmother recently stayed at Suffield House for Rehab after breaking her ankle and I was very displeased with the care she received. I am, myself a Nurse, and have worked in Rehabs/Long Term Care in the past. I was appalled when I called to see how she was doing and the nurse started to give me information on a different patient and clear did not know which patient she was suppose to be talking about. It took them over 4 days to get me the results of a chest xray despite the results being ready the same day and me calling the day after to see if they were in. I did not get timely return calls from nursing staff, when I did get calls and/or was connected to staff no one introduced themselves, so I never knew if I was talking to nursing, social work, or a secretary. They did not do a proper medication reconciliation and despite my numerous attempts to get her medications correct on the day of discharge almost 2 weeks after they still didn't have them right. There seemed to be no communication between one shift and the next. I told several different nurses that my grandmother takes her pills whole with apple sauce and on the day of discharge the nurse that was bring her in some PRN Tylenol still didn't know how she took her pills. One of the most concerning things though was that she was there for Rehab, to get stronger, and when she was admitted she was an Assist of 2 with PT but nursing staff had to use a Hoyer. I was furious. She was there to get stronger, using a Hoyer was only going to result in further deconditioning. It makes me wonder if they do not have enough nursing staff to do proper transfers and/or they do not trust their nursing staff enough to do proper transfers. Additionally, it was amazing how Grandma went from making slow to little progress to making great gains in just a day or so, once I complained and stated that she was coming home ASAP. I was very disappointed in the care. In future if Grandma would need rehab, I will just bring her home and do it her myself with VNA and other in home services.
Professional and friendly staff
I've been there almost every day for 2 weeks! Love this place.
We eat everyday at this restaurant because the food is delicious, fresh and each day has new specials to choose from. They also have gluten free options which is very important to my very celiac wife. The staff is friendly and make you want to return. On a five star rating I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service. I highly recommend Bissell’s Meeting House!
Great place to grab breakfast! Homemade hash is excellent.
As a local business owner myself I know good service and good food when I see it. Bissell's was a random stop that normally I wouldn't do but when I saw this little breakfast spot and the beautiful location I had to try it out when in the area. We had both the "Mediterranean Salad With Grilled Pesto" and "Grilled Cheese with Butternut Bisque" that was to die for! I highly recommend trying them out and thank you again to the Bissell's team for that great experience!
Delicious food and friendly, professional staff. The restaurant has a very charming and historic atmosphere. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was the best I've ever had. This is my favorite breakfast spot hands down!
