Tosca is always our go-to restaurant when celebrating special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. The atmosphere, the food, and the service are always on point.

The wait staff was very good and the ambience at the restaurant is comfortable and welcoming. It has a European feel. The food is nicely prepared but too rich to our taste. The chicken on of bed of mashed potatoes and carrots was wonderful, but it would've been better without the gravy. Perhaps that could've been offered on the side. The scampi pasta was too creamy for my wife's taste, but perhaps we're not the typical diners. Our two guests loved their meals, so perhaps they are the better judges. It was crowded, but somehow not too noisy. Restaurants often can't achieve that. We left thinking we had shared an elegant experience.

Our Anniversary Dinner — A Complete Disappointment
What was supposed to be a special evening turned into a major disappointment. While enjoying what started as a delicious Bolognese, I suddenly bit down on a metal bolt or rivet that had somehow made its way into my meal.
I immediately called our server, Matthew, over and showed him the object, saying, “We’ve got a problem.” His only reply was, “Yes, we have a problem.” After that, he did his best to avoid our table for the rest of the evening. He only acknowledged and apologized for the incident when he presented the check.
Although the restaurant did comp my Bolognese, no one from management ever came by to check my well being or to apologize for serving food with a metal object in it. When we asked the server if he had reported it, he said he informed the chef and gave him the object — yet we heard nothing further.
The lack of concern and accountability from management is unacceptable. Finding a bolt in your food is a serious safety issue, and the indifference shown made it even worse. Unfortunately, this experience makes it clear that food safety and customer care are not priorities here.

We have loved this restaurant for many years in fact we were celebrating our anniversary when we went this past Wednesday! We love the Chef's menu and how he offers creative specials! Service was excellent with nice wine recommendations! One of our favorite restaurants!

The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff were all friendly. Our waiter was especially attentive, which made the service enjoyable. The food we ordered was good overall, and the drinks were delicious. The only downside was the calamari, which wasn’t great—but the waiter kindly took it off the bill. While I appreciated the service and some of the dishes, I probably wouldn’t come back.

The food was impeccable! I guess it's actually worth it paying a little bit extra for the meals with food like that! The very attentive service couldn't have been better! It is a very small restaurant with tables very close together so the noise level is a little bit high. But that will not stop us from dining there again!

We were looking for a good place for dinner on our way to BDL Airport and found this amazing local gem on Google Maps. The food is something you would expect from a high end city restaurant with a top chef, but prices for food and drinks are more modestly priced. It appears to be very popular with locals and we had to sit at the bar. Our bartender, Ashley, was fantastic. Reservations are recommended.

We’ve been here 4 times now and have had an incredible experience each time. We’ve sat at a table (inside and out on the patio) and the bar, and their entire staff is so knowledgeable on the menu and specials, making great recommendations. You can tell that every ingredient is locally sourced and the food is made from scratch because everything tastes so fresh. Highly recommend the crab cake and risotto balls for apps, and the short rib gnocchi and Cajun pasta for entrees.
