I took my wife out to lunch and a short hike at White Memorial Preserve in Litchfield. I Googled Mapped “lunch nearby” and TFD popped up with great reviews and pics of the food. I’m glad I listened because my wife’s BLT was great according to her (and she’s picky folks) and my Western Omelette with added spinach was excellent. My plate was so full of food I couldn’t finish it and I’m a 6’ 205Ib guy. Service was great as well. We’ll be going back for dinner...

Lucia and staff are like family to us. We met her when she was I Southbury at the former “Yvonne’s” diner (we miss it so much-and her!). We learned she was in Thomaston and try to get there when we can. The very best breakfasts! Supremely family friendly staff and excellent food. Recently renovated space. A real gem!

First time here and it the worst experience I had in some time. First, the diner is slow, maybe 4 families. It took forever for my meal to be served and it was wrong. When it came back out, the eggs were over easy and runny when I ordered over medium. See photo. And it’s not affordable like others suggested, it was about $2 more than I’d expect.
