I am born and raised in the southside of Chicago and still reside there. This place was recommended by a native of New Haven and he stated this was his favorite place. It did not disappoint! I did Sally’s, Frank Pepe’s and Modern. This place beat them all! Keep up the good work and see you at the top of lists soon
New Haven style pizza in the Northwest Hills. Milestone pizza is excellent quality and delicious. Their clams casino pie is fantastic. Also love the sausage and mushroom. The prices are on the high side but worth it if you need good New Haven style pizza and don't want to drive.
I eat a lot of pizza. It's getting harder and harder to find a pie that truly impresses...I found that pie at Milestone.
This IS NOT NEAPOLITAN pizza; there is no flop, there is a little char. The crust is smokey and cooked to perfection. The ratios of sauce, cheese, and dough are excellent. I had a chat with some of the employees- they were friendly and fun to talk to.
