Worst course conditions I've ever played on. I understand they had to deal with a lot of rain lately, but I've never seen a course drain so poorly or have som much standing water and mud. They shouldn't even be open with the condition it's in right now

I love this course, been playing it for over 50 years. Great layout. Fees are okay, often busy. There's usually a deal for a free sandwich in the restaurant, good food.

Great place to golf with great food too! All around, great value. Plus, the food is absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed my meal.

First review i've ever written anywhere, because I don't waste my time. But I've been to Raceway a number of times and the last few times were a horrible experience. 1) I got food poisoning from the boneless rib burger last year 2) I went this year the first day they were open in 2017 and was treated like shit. I'm not a member and didn't have a tee time because it was wednesday morning and rainy, so I figured a single could fly through; they looked at me like I had 5 heads. The older woman and man behind the desk would not offer me a 9 hole rate (cut 18 in half genius), and she pompously told me the driving range was not open. After i got through the hell that was finding the rate on my email to pay, the man says "Don't you work?" I was blown away and disgusted at such a comment. Because i'm mid-20's and have a day off I must be unemployed? I own my own business and held off work for the morning to get a round in, sue me. 3) I went last year on a rainy day and got rained out after 4 holes, trying to get a rain check was like pulling teeth. I assured them I didn't want my money back, just a credit so I could come back and they would get the same business, it must've took a half hour for them to take the 4 holes I played off the credit. It would take a miracle for me to go back. I like the course, but it reality, its sub par.

Played here on 5/22/16. I was very pleased. The price was very reasonable for the conditions of the course. Most importantly, the entire course was Green. Fairways were soft and easy to play off of. Rough was plush. Greens were rolling well and have been kept in good shape. Definitely a major improvement in course conditions in the past few years. The Staff was also very accommodating, not only on the phone but in the pro shop as well. The woman running the register was training and was very apologetic for being slow, which we did not mind at all and we completely understood. Rangers on the course were also helpful, keeping an eye on a "slow group" in front of us and making sure they kept up with pace. All in all a great round of golf at an extremely affordable price. I definitely recommend playing Raceway Golf Club.

They've got big steaks. Huge. Like, massive. Mega-cows used to roam these fields and racers used to have to swerve between them in their rally for the cup. These days they're not so likely, but the prime rib was delicious. Everything else harkened back to those simpler times when mega-cows walked free.

Decided to golf here with my relatives on Labor Day weekend. No Rangers so play was slow, everybody's carts belts were squealing it looks like they don't do anything to them except fuel them and change the oil. Food was good but they were understaffed and my biggest pet peeve disgusting bathrooms and no paper towels to wipe your hands. Do the owners not see how rundown their business is I will never go there again.

Good sandwich place! Typical pub food! Good man cave feel! If on a date best to bring your own candlelight or make it plan "B".

Stopped for lunch with my wife. It was very busy with golfers. We had an excellent lunch for a reasonable price. My hamburger was outstanding, as was Bev's egg salad sandwich. Beer was in a chilled glass. Bev had iced tea. No view, just a nice golf pub with excellent food at a great price. Glad we discovered it.

When you're talking about value, I think the Raceway Golf Course is up there with the best of them. To walk 9 holes during the week, it runs around $16. However, to ride 18 on the weekend, I think they have a special that runs around $30 and you also get lunch, which is a good value. As far as the course goes, it is in pretty good shape. On a recent visit, the greens were in great shape. Unfortunately, the course falls short when it comes to challenging. To me, it is somewhat boring to play, due to the same old layout and design. Open fairways and generally straight holes. Hole #5 is pretty ridiculous par 5. It is a double dogleg right, which makes absolutely no sense. The green is probably a good 50 yards wide, yet only 10 yards deep. I don't understand why courses make such large greens, it just costs more to keep. In any event, I will continue to go there, due to the value. If you are looking for an easy course, and generally no frills policy, this is the place. They also have a driving range on site, if you want to hit a bucket before heading out on the course.

Golfed here at least a dozen times and I really love this place. They have great specials that include a round of golf with a cart and lunch for a reasonable price. They also have great twilight specials. The clubhouse is impressive with great food and the well maintained course is really enjoyable to play at. Can't go wrong coming to Raceway for a round of golf.
