Their food is not bad and a nice menu of choices including sushi. My main issue is the portions size is on the lower end for the price. They have lunch specials but at least half of the container is all rice. There is too much rice and not enough of the main dish ordered.

I don’t think anyone would disagree that Mici’s is a cut above standard Chinese take out. Everything we’ve had is good or great. We’re never disappointed. I could eat the Chicken Lo Mein for lunch AND dinner. (Ok I confess I have.). The chicken in most of their dishes is velveted so it’s super tender & flavorful. The Sweet & Sour Chicken is this same tender chicken in a very crispy light batter - so good! I love the Sesame Cold Noodles and always ask for extra peanut sauce. It’s so good that I eat it very slowly to savor the flavor. And it’s not overly spicy.
Their sushi is always fresh. And they have a wide choice of sushi rolls and hand rolls.
The Shrimp Fried Rice and Seafood Fried Rice are perfect. (Sometimes I throw some of the rice in a pan at home to get some crispy bits!)
Mici’s is also very accommodating and regularly makes me Pork Egg Foo Young (not on the menu) with no problem and it’s great! My husband & I think you’ll really like Mici’s Asian Bistro in Trumbull. (PS they are pretty fast on takeout orders. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking. Comfortable seating.)

This is, hands down, our favorite local place for sushi. And this is coming from someone who has eatien sushi across this area of Connecticut. The fish is always fresh tasting and vibrant colored. And the the carrot ginger salad dressing is exceptional! We usually do takeout, though we have dined in on occasion.

I am half Japanese and also fisherman so I have very high standards for my fish and Sushi. Obviously, you have to take things in context. And you can’t expect to get sushi like you get at a high-end Omakase sushi bar in New York City but I’m still looking for quality fish and often disappointed.
This is my go to place for Sushi locally.
I can comfortably say that within Trumbull they consistently serve the highest quality fish available in Trumbull. Staft is friendly and they make good quality sushi that I feel safe to eat and the fish quality is definitely a step above what is available in the area.

We have been coming here for takeout for YEARS. We decided to go dine in with some friends later in the evening. We arrived at 9:45, online and the door stated they close at 11 and we didn’t want a ton of food. I am greeted and told they close at 10:30, I asked if it was okay and they said yes. They ran over to take our drink order and they keep going to the next person without the previous one finishing their order. They seem angry and annoyed so I asked, would you like us to take this to go or leave so you can close? She raised her voice and began yelling something I could not really understand. She pushed us to still order so we did. The food came out, one of the rolls had a hair on it. Immediately after all the staff put their jackets on and watched us eat. It was very uncomfortable and disappointing because I usually love their sushi and it is fairly priced. The woman was extremely rude and they pulled my plate away before I was even done packing it up. They could’ve kindly told us they were closing for the night or they were only taking to go orders. Now they lost a regular customer.

Mici’s food is FANTASTIC! From our nice Waitress to the food the experience was the Chicken Lo Mien! It was my favorite! Shoutout to them especially for working New Year’s day with multiple phone calls and people coming in and out!
