Some things on the menu are ok but some things are horrible. How are you supposed to cut some apps when they are served on a thin sheet of parchment in a tin tray?

Upon walking in, it took 10 minutes to be greeted only to be before told it was a 45 minute wait. We left and headed down the road. It would have nice to know from that Reservations are highly suggested!

Updated review Thought would give these guys another try. Sadly service is the same begging for water or a server to recognize us appetizers Coming out cold on middle. We tried the tomahawk steak and prime rib both expensive cuts of Meat on the menu and they were dosed with Montreal steak seasoning not a specialty rub which you would expect from a steak and scotch place. The prime rib was the exact same seasoning and while we asked for medium it was super rare. The peanut butter pie tasted like it was bought from a grocery store with a pre fab crust and peanut butter mixed with cream cheese and cool whip for 9.00 a slice I would expect more. Am once is the same dirty table tops and loud talking people. Definitely won't be back

Premium cut steak with exotic flavors at Parker. Steak & Scotch in Trumbull, CT. One of my favorite places for good steak and great service. For starters we ordered Lamb Lollipops (highly recommend ordering this) and boneless Chicken Wings. For the mains we ordered Filet Mignon with bearnaise, Short Ribs braised slow with port wine pan sauce, Tomahawk frenched Bone Ribeye and Fall of the bone Ribs with Onion Rings! All meats were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Ended this gorgeous dinner with carrot cake! The marbling, the sear, and the juiciness of the steaks was perfect. Ample parking, excellent service and great vibe. A must try if you are in the neighborhood!

Typically, I go to the stratford location, but I decided to go here. BIG MISTAKE. It was many things that went wrong. Maybe they aren't used to big parties but the service was HORRIBLE. I called days prior to make serverations for a party of 12, therefore they should have been prepared. The server, sammy, was a disappointment. She had an attitude the entire time and was very unprofessional. She didn't introduce herself nor asked if we would like something to drink. That is basic etiquettes for a server. When bringing out our appetizers, she placed them randomly on the table. She didn't attempt to hand them to the correct person. If she did not know who the food belonged to, she could have asked but she did not care. When finished, we had to ask her to take the plates. We did not have a pitcher of water which was strange because every other table had one. We had to request our drinks multiple times and still waited over 20 minutes for them. When addressing the waiter she said " well you're not my only table" which I thought was very rude. It's the principle, we were more than patient. The tables around us had constant refills and she checked on them multiple times. But we had to wave her down, and wait for our drinks. It seemed like she didn't want to do her job. After a while she stopped coming to our table. Half of our table didn't order entrees because we could not get her attention. We decided to end the dinner early. At this point, we had 4 waiters come to our table and start to clean it. I became very frustrated because all the waiteres seemed busy when we wanted to place an order but now they were available to clean our table. It seemed like they were rushing us. We brought our concerns to the manager. He was nice and understanding about it. He decided to remove our drinks for us which was nice. I did not mind paying for the entire bill. However, the issue was paying a 20% tip when the server was so rude. A tip should not be automatically added if We are not guaranteed good service! Although, the food was good, I would not return solely based of the service.

Their filet tips are out of this world, highly recommended. There is a dining area on one side and a bar on the other.

Had an awful experience tonight. I ordered a medium steak which came to me raw. I sent it yams it came back rare. This is a steakhouse. How do they not k ow how to cook a steak? Also the service was horrible. The bartender spent more time socializing with her customers than waiting on customers. Overall will never go back

Wish I never stopped here... walked in about 5.30,dining room wasn't crowded, but we decided to sit at bar which is small, and it too wasn't overly crowded.Sat down and waited, and waited while the bartender talked to her friends on the other side of the bar. Finally I sort of shouted " excuse me" and she came over. She gave us menus and got our two drinks, then we waited and waited again, this time she was opening a bottle of wine, while chatting with the 3 other employees at the end of the bar. Finally,we ordered our food,I had pasta with sausage,my friend had a steak. My pasta came out luke warm, and my friend's steak came out raw..sent the steak back, and after about 10 mins, came back rare,by that time my pasta was cold.Bartender never came back to ask if it's ok,or ask if we wanted another round, again, she was socializing with friends.Really bad experience, won't be going back.

Several years ago I received a gift card to Parker and many times debated going, even just to pick up a salad which I had heard they did pretty well. My friend and I decided to take my gift card and put a dent in it. Our server was very sweet. We didn't order alcoholic beverages and started with a big salad to share. It was really very good. I appreciated all the choices. From lettuces, cheeses, meats and vegetables. All was fresh and the dressings (we tried a couple of different ones) were good as well. For our entree, I ordered prime rib and she had salmon...I think. I believe my dinner was $45, hers was around the same. I'm a good cook and know what food should taste like. This wasn't good. I like mine rare which can be tough as in difficult. Unfortunately, it was also just tough. There was no marbling whatsoever and the seasoning on the outside was so salty it burned my mouth. Could I have said something? Asked them to take it back? Sure but I didn't. I had hung onto that gift card for close to eight years so yes, I blew a hundred dollars plus on a mediocre at best meal. I suppose if you go there and have a few drinks then eat you might not notice if your food isn't good. I don't drink so, other than picking up a big salad, I won't blow the rest of my gift card.
