I ordered corned beef and cabbage as takeout. If I had been served this in the restaurant, I would have sent it back to the kitchen. The corned beef was tough and the cabbage, which I normally love, was a barely recognizable mush so heavily spiced there was no hint of its natural flavor left.

There ARE four foul-mouthed, female customers at the bar accompanied by minor who doesn’t seem to be consuming alcohol. ALL OF THEM have been nothing but CRUDE, RUDE and SUB-STANDARD as far as restaurant etiquette……..the fact that NO MANAGEMENT has put this to rest is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

I’m a meatloaf connoisseur. Naturally, when this restaurant initiated a dish for each day of the week and assigned meatloaf to Monday, we determined to give it a try. It was awful: the texture of soft bread, no beefy flavor at. It tasted like molded mush. Doubtless there some good meals but if you’re a loaf-man, don’t even think of trying theirs!

Where dreams go to diePlace was like an old peoples home in Florida at happy hour.Hell I'm 55 and was by far the youngest and healthiest human in the place by far.Imagine if zombies had a place to get tepid beers and weak drinks at happy hour and this place will be what you think of

1/18/24 Thursday was my first time eating at the 99 in wallingford and have to say my experience was great, for whatever reason I bypassed this restaurant 100s of times and I finally gave them a try and service was amazing, I believe if I'm going by my receipt the waitress name was unique p. Her service was great from the greeting and lite conversation and how attentive she was, her service seem genuine and sincere, she made us truly feel like it was a pleasure to have our service. Now the food caught me by surprise, lately I've been to a number of restaurants and food has not lived up to the price or expectation and before coming here there was only three restaurants that I would highly recommend but now after having this flavorful delicious meal and a wonderful experience this is another highly recommended restaurant added to my list . Thank you to the chef for taking pride in the preparation of my meal you gave my wife and I a reason to return. Also thank you to the manager and owner for a clean , comfortable, professional , welcoming environment.

I had the steak tip with chicken tender. The chicken came out hot but the steak came out cold. Looks like they cook the steak first and then the chicken. I wasn’t happy with the food. I didn’t make a big deal about it. But unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be going to 99 anytime soon. Also waitress wasn’t coming around to check up on us.
Always top notch food, service and friendly staff, kudo's to all and the manager also. Great guy, involved in everything and engages with the customers too. Don't see that often. Bravo!!

Passing through town to visit some frievds. 99 restaurant has been our 'go-to' dinner place when visiting. Disappointed in the fish and chips. Way too salty. Also not pleased with the waitress. I hope that it was because she was having a bad day ... as we all do sometimes.
