I was visiting through the towns stopped by here. The owner was amazing. He actually cooked tea for me which was not on the menu and he made the food really really good. He's very welcoming and warming. I really appreciate it. The food and it was one of the best amazing food I had in that region which was Pakistani style. Holy moly- SO GOOD. My new go-to spot for sure!! I have driven by Al Aqsa for years and didn’t know what it was, and finally popped in today! I am so sad I missed all these years without knowing about this place! I got the chicken and rice along with a potato samosa and a chicken one. Also bought a box of dates and peanut brittle- the whole front is a store! Owner was incredibly nice and friendly, and broke down the entire menu for me! Be sure to give it a try, you won’t...

Diamond in the Rough. A NYC Halal cart in Wallingford. Excellent chicken shawarma and chicken over rice. I could drink the white sauce on its own. Naan and pita all fresh and delicious. Excellent samosas also. Owner/chef super nice.
