I was at a wedding recently in Southington. As soon as I tried the mini cupcakes I had to know where they came from. I found out it was here. The icing was perfect, not too sweet and the cake part was moist. Best ever, and I am picky

I custom ordered a Bourbon Barrel cake for my husband’s birthday this past weekend. From the start in the ordering process it was absolutely efficient and pleasant. The finished product was a WOW, the guests were blown away with the look and taste! I highly recommend using this bakery for any and all custom cakes.

If you have allergies or celiac, stay far away! The cake was decorated nice, tasted okay although frosting was a bit too sweet! It was also pricy at $70 for a small round cake. We ordered a gluten free cake and were assured that they’d do everything possible to avoid cross contamination. That clearly didn’t happen! My celiac daughter has been very sick after eating this cake! If you have allergies/celiac, bake your own cake or go to another bakery that can truly accommodate!

Beautiful and It tasted absolutely phenomenal (chocolate cake with strawberry filling and whipped cream frosting) the whole cake almost went, which I feel like never happens at parties, everyone was asking me where we got the cake, I think Alyssa Cakery just acquired many new customers. I've ordered two birthday cakes from Alyssa's now and both are amazing! Alyssa is amazing to work with on cake design and her execution is flawless. And most importantly, her cakes are DELICIOUS. I've had many of a beautifully decorated cake, but the cake itself wasn't good. Alyssa's cakes are always so good and she has a great range of flavors to really get the taste you're looking for. I'm looking forward to ordering again!
