This is our favorite ice cream place. We just got an ice cream cake for our 10 year olds birthday and he was so happy it came from Bananas! From now on...no more grocery store ice cream cakes for us!

I have never had a bad ice cream from Bananas! I have always been a lover of their cotton candy ice cream but went in and tried their new flavors and I was blown away. This shop is small, sweet and full of smiles. Great service and care. The only down side I have is I wish it was closer to my house!Dietary restrictions: They offer many options for those who have restrictions.Parking: They have parking in the front and side.Kid-friendliness: My kids love coming to bananas and trying new ice cream and new toppings. Always a great stop for them.

Wow. Simply awful. Ice cream had no flavor whatsoever. Whipped cream was alright but it was sitting out in a bowl instead of being refrigerated. Thank god this is their only location so the absolute vermin they refer to as “ice cream” can’t spread. The 5 star reviews have to be paid reviews, don’t know who in their right mind would actually enjoy this place. Also their mascot looks like it was ripped off of a late 2000s graphic tee which kind of irked me.

Small little shop located in an unassuming plaza on the Wallingford Meriden line. I ordered a medium peanut butter ice cream cup, with a peanut butter sauce on top. I may have been a little over the top ordering it this way, but it was delicious. Friendly service, and a great place to stop either with kids, date night, or just passing through. Reasonably priced. I think it was six dollars and some change with the tip.
My maple walnut cone was delicious. It had real wlanuts!

Great variety.I came here a few minutes after opening. I ordered a small cup and asked for a biscuit on top like they did for their strawberry short cake.The man told me he couldn't do it because it was part of the strawberry shortcake sundae. However i noticed (after already paying) that a biscuit was an option as a topping for an extra dollar. When i asked "oh it is a separate topping!" He told me they don't do it for small ice creams.I left and now I'm not so sure that is the case. Why couldn't i just get my darn biscuit? Was it because they had just opened and were not prepared?Either way, i think I'll go somewhere else next time.Don't advertise toppings you cannot or will not allow for a standard ice cream in a cup.
