Bourassa went above and beyond our expectations throughout the entire wedding planning process and wedding day. The communication and planning was thorough and organized and made sure nothing went unaccounted for. The tasting was incredible with some many amazing options to choose from, it was honestly hard to pick because everything was so amazing. Leading up to the wedding the team made sure every detail was covered, making sure all guests had safe options despite multiple allergies and sensitivities. It put our mind at ease knowing all of our guests could easily find something safe and delicious to eat. The food and service on our wedding day was beyond our expectations. The staff were attentive to guest needs, the food and drinks were incredible, and everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Most couple often say they barley have time to eat on their wedding day, and this couldn't be further from the truth for us. The staff made sure we had drinks and food whenever we needed and I'm so glad that was the case because all of the food was outstanding. I have had multiple guests rave about how good the food was. I have many engaged friends now inquiring about who we had for catering because they do not want to miss out on hiring Bourassa. I simply cannot recommend Bourassa enough and look forward to hiring them for all of my future events, you cannot go wrong picking them to be apart of your wedding or special event!!

We are so grateful that we chose Bourassa Catering for our wedding at The Estate in New Haven this past October. They were absolutely phenomenal from start of planning through cleanup of our event. We continue to hear from our guests how incredible the food and service was. We chose the short rib, salmon and eggplant rollatini for entrees then 5 passed apps, charcuterie and a taco station along with their full bar service.

We worked closely with Nikki during the planning process, and she was a dream to work with. She is attentive, communicative, and makes everything feel seamless. Her organization and professionalism allowed us to relax and feel confident knowing Bourassa had every detail of our vison handled. Nikki will help you to make your wedding day your own assisting in customizing some of our menu items and ensuring that your décor is exactly how you pictured it to be.

They worked with us to design a unique combo family-style and plated meal service, and it was executed perfectly. The timing was flawless, the food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. My husband and I had our own attendant who made sure we had a drink & got to try all of our food during such a busy night. They even went above and beyond by sourcing our favorite local beer from our hometown for the bar and helping coordinate the delivery of 15 individual mini wedding cakes to each table for dessert.

The bartenders kept up with a busy crowd and served delicious drinks all night with great energy and fantastic service even switching locations between cocktail hour, the reception and late night service for us.

Bourassa is the reason that our wedding day was executed so seamlessly. If you want a caterer who delivers not only excellent food but top-tier service and attention to detail, we cannot recommend them highly enough!

We used Bourassa Catering for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! From start to finish, they were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. The food was beyond delicious, and our guests raved about it all night.

Some of our favorites were the duck baos, crab cakes, meatballs, and of course our pie bar which was such a hit! The wait staff and service were exceptional, attentive, and professional throughout the entire evening.

We didn’t use their bar service, but if it’s anything like their food and staff, I’m sure it would have been just as incredible.

If your venue doesn’t have in-house catering, please do yourself a favor and use Bourassa! They helped make our wedding day unforgettable.

So much to write for our catering company. I originally talked to our selected vendors from our wedding site. Bourassa was a NO BRAINER. Their menu was expansive, affordable, plainly written with no HIDDEN FEES! Every time I had called, someone answered within two rings. Every time I emailed, I had a response within an hour. I was stunned by their 5 star reviews across SIX DIFFERENT SITES and knew I wanted to know more. Everything was personalized. Every question was met with curiosity and compassion. They filled our stressful decision making days with laughter and light. They didn’t try to upsell me, pressure me, or change any of my choices. They helped with our centerpieces, staffing shortages, venue issues, communications with other vendors and the list goes on. Our tasting was romantic, personalized, and CALM. Nikki and John will always have a special place in our hearts from the gift they left us in our wedding suite. The dinner everyone is still raving about and we’re excited to frequent their restaurant in Wallingford ASAP to go back for more. We love you guys and knew it was right to trust you from the start!

Bourassa catered our wedding this past weekend at Branford House and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. The initial tasting was incredible and working with Nikki throughout the entire process was a dream. On the day of, Sharon, Genet, and the entire team were incredibly efficient and helpful. They truly made everything look beautiful and were so attentive. Our guests loved the food and we received so many compliments. We could not be more thankful to the entire team. We are so happy that we chose Bourassa to cater our wedding!

We worked with Bourassa for our backyard wedding last month and could not be happier with how things turned out. Nikki was so responsive and patient with us throughout the whole process and guided us when we needed it. The day of was seamless and the entire staff was amazing - they remembered who had different dietary needs after one pass with the hors d'oeuvres! The drinks were amazing, the buffet was warm, and the whole time everyone was so attentive, so much so we didn't even see the staff despite there being so many hands on deck! Guests were raving about the food the night of and now weeks later. We could not recommended Nikki and the whole Bourassa team enough!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Bourassa for our wedding on September 26, 2025, at Wadsworth Mansion, and I can confidently say they were one of the best decisions we made for our day. From the first tasting to the last bite served at our reception, everything was exceptional.
The food was beyond delicious — beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and served hot and fresh to every guest. We received endless compliments throughout the night and even days after the wedding about how incredible the meal was (and how it was the best wedding food many had ever had!). I truly appreciate how much time and effort the team put into our wedding. From creating a menu special to us to last minute changes to a staff that was so kind the day of! Our wedding could not have gone more smoothly without their help from setting up the ceremony chairs, moving them into the tent and setting up the reception area, the AMAZING food at cocktail hour and dinner, having two bars for us, and making sure my husband and I were fed!
