Best sandwich shop in CT! Roasts his own meats!

Second time I’ve been here and there roast beef sandwiches are amazing! Warm roast beef with just the right amount of horseradish on a caraway seed roll that is nice and soft. Definitely try it out!!

Hands down, best roast beef sandwich I have ever had. I had the Ana V sandwich, and my wife had the thanksgiving turkey sandwich, both got a Vinny’s deli soda, and some cookies. Everything was delicious and fresh! And you get to listen to Elvis the whole time! Great experience!

Just started a new job in Wallingford at a repair shop that is has new ownership, so we are looking for good lunch spots. Let me tell you this sandwich was one of the BEST I've had in a LONG TIME! The roast beef was so tender and flavorful, the horseradish was the perfect amount. All of us sat in silence eating because of how good the sandwiches. This will be our go to spot for now!

I stopped by this afternoon and had a great chat with the owner about his business, Wallingford, and about the legendary Zingerman’s Deli in Ann Arbor, MI. Here’s the real deal: Vinny’s tuna sandwich far surpasses Zingerman’s in taste, presentation, and price. I highly recommend this amazing Connecticut treasure. I’m a new loyal customer! Can’t emphasize this enough - you can tell when a business really cares about its customers.

Love this place! Every time I’m in town I gotta get either their roast beef on a hard roll or a lobster roll from Vinny’s! Love the local love and town nostalgia there, such a lovely place.

Long wait.

Horrible door dash experience. Ordered a roast beef and what I think was a chicken cutlet hero. The RB was raw, chewy, and skimpy, the bread was soaked in mayo. The chicken was worse, parts of the chicken were raw, the peppers looked like last season's.

Ordered via DoorDash yesterday afternoon. The roast beef was horrible, very rare , stringy and chewy, bread was soaked in mayonnaise. The second sandwich was worse, it was supposed to be a chicken cutlet but in place was pieces of undercooked white meat, the peppers were horrible. My sense they use some other RB in place of there regular beef. Never again.

Have to say that this is an amazing deli.im glad I finally got to make it there .and i have to tell u that their sandwiches are amazing. Highly recommend that you try this deli .because you won't be disappointed.
