Sandwich was small and skimpy
on the meat. Very underwhelming & disappointing for a not cheap sub . More bacon than roast beef . The flavor of the Roast beef was good and tasted fresh.

Get the Thanksgiving sandwich when it’s available. Absolutely delicious!

Drove over an hour to get a hot Roast Beef Sandwich. Got there about an hour before they closed. Was really impressed with store itself. Very well thought out, nice place!
So my purchase was simple.. Hot roast beef on a roll with au jus and a slather of mayo.
A small side of macaroni salad and a bottle of there brand Root beer. Just over 20 bucks for order.
Macaroni salad was excellent.... But my sandwich, come on, king of roast beef?
My sandwich was small, beef was way to well done, and dry as can be. Sandwich was actually terrible. And extremely overpriced for what I got.
Sorry but First Impressions stick!

Sandwiches are decent but the employees are rude and not helpful. They have a free sandwich reward if you give them your email. I gave them my email 2 months ago and I asked them why I haven’t received a free sandwich yet. They ignored my question and said too bad. The girl at the front had an attitude. It’s unfortunate that they make good sandwiches but have terrible customer service. That will be my last time getting a sandwich from there.

Great place all around. I get their emails, highly recommended, so I got their 2 lobster roll special. DELICIOUS! They are also big community supporters. Definitely worth a trip. Then go next door for amazing ice cream

Got the over-nighter, it was awesome. The bun was light and still crispy - had kosher salt and fennel seed, which was a great addition to the sandwich.

The beef was tender, moist, and cooked to perfection.

The restaurant is quirky and has so much 'local' personality.

I loved the sign offering customers a $25 reward for reporting employees who don't use gloves in handling food.

I've lived in Wallingford for 2 years and finally tried the deli - so glad I did.

Highly recommend, especially for a quick lunch bite.

My husband and I finally tried this place and we were NOT disappointed!! My husband got the All Nighter and it was so good! I had an Italian cold cut and it was delish!

This place is worth driving to from my town, (30 minutes away). I got a #8, the Caserta, on a hard roll. It tasted clean and fresh. Mighta been the bread. I don't know but it was delicious. The deli really deserves all the accolades the have posted on the walls. And I gotta say I think it's refreshing that you can only tip cash. Of which I had none. Sorry, I'll be back though!
