Tried sitting at us at a dirty table that was covered in winter clothes and boots, I assume from the people that worked there. Lack of attention from the waitress. The food was very soggy and not hot.

traveling through Wallingford on route 15, Got caught in traffic jam, due to an accident ahead. We got of the exit and Decided just to go have dinner. Wait out the traffic before heading home. Sat at the bar side and enjoy a burger special that they had going on. Next time, I will ask for NO salt on the chip(To salty)⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chips, Bacon burger with fries⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Margarita on the rocks⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chilis has been a go to of mine and my mom’s for over 20 years! Long before my staple entree - the Monterey Chicken was moved to the secret menu!
I’m not one to publicly badmouth one of my favorite restaurant brands but it’s worth mentioning that although Newington is our local location - I drive by it - literally, to visit the Wallingford one.
Wallingford’s an entirely better experience! From the cleanliness of the restaurant to the quality and quantity of the food - it’s far above Newington and I’m sure a lot has to do with it being the training restaurant! Not something you’d know or care about unless you were a true 🌶️’s fan ;-)
Ohhh and one more thing - of course we have a particular server whose been our server for probably close to fifteen years, who we request when we visit - shout out to Kevin Royea!

Absolutely pathetic service from this Chilis...went there on Tuesday for lunch with my son...nobody on the front desk...waited 5-10 minutes for service...nobody came. Went to the bar area and took our seats at the bar. No bartender on...another customer went into the kitchen to get someone to cash him out. Bartender (Black heavyset girl) came out eventually and cashed him out. She walked right past my son and I and simply ignored us for an additional 5-7 minutes. Ill never get that 20 minutes (total) back and guarantee that I will never return to this establishment.

Me and my family have been attending this Chili’s for years and over the past few years the team that it has currently has to be top tier, it’s so good to the point where we treat one another like family with hugs and laughter which is rare to find,You don’t see or hear of family welcoming based restaurants like this anymore-for certain holidays it’s a staple to come here no ifs and or buts about it, we know the amazing power team by name Kevin, Allyn, Miami, Matthew & Red. Between them all their enthusiasm and light that shines when they wait on you is unmatched nothing I have ever experienced in any restaurant before, today was a great day because they were all in attendance which we never had seen before and the beautiful part is when they heard we were present they all came to greet and spread love,it was so amazing to have such and impact on the customers in vice versa we adore this team their energy is contagious in a great way we always look forward to attending this Chilis restaurant if you want to feel loved and welcomed I highly recommend Wallingford Chilis. Placed an order on doordash. Received the wrong items but yet had my ticket on it. Whe. I Called the restaurant I was told there is nothing they can do about it I received food weather it was what I ordered or not. Did not want to help me just told me not their problem to calldoordash if I was not happy. This is not a doordash issue this is the restaurant not packaging the correct order. The male I spoke with could have been a little more concerned with the fact they didn't check the order before placing blame. Also no where does it say you have to pick a drink for kids meal and if you want water they will not provide. Never been so disappointed 😞

The manager tonight made my son and his three friends pay for another tables meal. Complete separate check and table. The claim was the other party card transaction hadn't gone through when they left. Though everyone was from the same school it was a completely separate table and kids. They ended up paying not knowing any better. I found out from the other tables parents their transactions did hit their bank accounts. So chilli's basically just shook down a bunch of high school students and my guess is none of the kids that ended up paying for the other table are getting their money back.
